I watched the video on this blog. The technique for the swing is flawed. You do not start a swing with the lift. You have to drive the kb through your legs first to develop momentum for the first swing. Their first swing has to be mostly arms. That is a prescription for an injury.

IMHO the workout was way to complicated. Stick with swings and get ups until perfected. Then focus on C&P, MP and Snatches. Boring but affective. Who wants to toss a bell in the air. Great way to get hurt.

"SUGAR IS THE DEVIL" - Just telling it like it is. When it comes to the hard truth about sugar, obesity, and disease, both the sugar industry and Harvard University have A LOT to answer for. Glad the facts now are pouring out. Get rid of added sugar and too many starchy carbs like they're the plague.

I googled "kettlebell gunslinger", and this is the video I found. I'm not sure who this guy actually is, but his form looked pretty good to me, so I assumed he was on the up and up!

They were HARD! Especially so far into the overall workout, when I was already getting a little pooped! Looking forward to being able to do a solid minute of them!

I did Workout #1 today at the gym, and I have to say, it really kicked my butt! I'm still worn out, but it was really good.
I did struggle with a few things, maybe you have some tips?
- Granted, I'm still fairly new to KB, but I found it difficult to alternate hands in round three for the snatch with alternating hands... I ended up doing a swing in between to give myself time to transition.
- Ditto on the long cycle clean and press with alternating arms (maybe this just takes practice)
- I LOVED the gunslinger, but MAN, I could not do the full 1 minute.. and I'm in pretty decent shape! I bonked at about 30 seconds.
- Squats with arm racked.. my understanding of the rack position is that you use your body to support the arm a bit. When I drop into a squat, my body moves backwards a bit, away from my arm, and I find myself sticking my elbow out a bit to continue to support the KB... is this correct? Is there a better way to do this?

Again, great workout, thanks for posting!
