I won't be very active with any of my spark teams from now on. I think I am going to stick to the phone app. We are not supposed to be on our computers at work, so I can't really access my spark teams as easily as I can from my desk top. I will probably check in weekly, but that will be all.

I will try to be more active in the facebook challenge.

I did some heavy swing and cleans which are ab killers. I think my whole lift was off but it happens, the energy was off and all my lifters came up short. It was stressful the amount of noise they have going (way too loud) and then trying to interrupt what the judge is saying, especially when he gives out the wrong call and doesn't even realize it. Anyhow, I have another meet this weekend same federation so it should be interesting, but I'm doing a biathlon and just going to enjoy my lift. 7987 so far or May. I'll see if there is enough time to get to 10,000, I train tomorrow so not a lot of reps but classes will help and there is Thursday before I start my trip over. Try some healthy protein and lots of greens, greens help give me energy to lift. Have a great one.

5455, I am not getting the numbers in that I would like, but I am trying to stay active. I seem to be so tired lately and I can't seem to get fully rested. I seem to be reducing the weight loads, too. I think I am going to have to convince myself to push a bit harder.

Sorry you did not get what you had hoped for, but like you said, there is always another time and you are doing something that most of us are not doing. You are amazing and a great motivator.

I would love to plant a garden again but we really need to make the space a bit deeper, maybe something to work on this weekend. I will need to get that idea rolling. That would give me Sunday projects. I did get training in with a 20kg for one arm long cycle and found out I have some work to do. I did get in a lot of work with an 18kg bell today to feel better so that works. I have classes tonight and we will have lots of fun work to do, I plan to do at least one, depends on my newbies.

2654 My next competition is the 20th and I'm just going to go for 16kg snatch for my Master of sport and one arm long cycle with the 16kg then I back to biathlon but with 16kg. Wish me luck. You're doing great no worries.

I am getting behind on my swings, but I did get my garden in this weekend. A couple days off here and there won't hurt too much, but I do get off track easily. Trying to hang in there and am planning a good workout tonight. Good luck with that 20 kg. LC.

2204 for me, today was all snatch for 380 reps. I am going for my masters and need 150 reps in 10 minutes and have not snatched a 16kg since Worlds last year but was training all of this and still am so I'm going for it. 1098 for the month so far, only 98 reps for training today but I'll take it, it was 10 minutes of 20kg One arm long cycle and it was brutal. I found out that 8.8 pounds adds up quickly. It will be a process but I'm ready. I will see what May 20th brings the first time I do that. First official day back for training, then two meets then training again for a 3 week frame and 2 meets back to back. It's all good. Have a great one.

Nice with my comp numbers 132 reps double 12kg jerk, 205 12kg snatch and 104 reps 16kg one arm long cycle I hit 10362. I managed two CMS certificates so that was cool. Hope all is well, it will be another day, I might do some light bell work tomorrow to work on snatch and getting my arms to move. Hope May is a great month as well. Have a great day.

9040 so far, not sure if I'll make it or not I do have a meet this Saturday so I should be close or over. I might do the 454 swing challenge and see how that goes. (earth day challenge on kettlebellsusa Facebook page. I have one more day of training and should take it easy till the comp. I have classes Wednesday, Friday and Saturday so there will be work done. Endurance is important for sport, but it can be built on, do the following drill it really helps
1 minute on 1 minute off fastest pace you can do whatever lift you want 12 rounds, then increase to 1:15 minute on 1 minute off, 1:30 minute on 1 minute off 1:45 minute on 1 minute off. This really gets your endurance and strength built so you can handle the longer sets, if that's something you'd like to do. Nothing burns more calories then a 10 minute set, or start small and aim for a 5 minute set to get started. You got this.

My team was hating them as well on Friday, they did 4 minute sets for two rounds. It builds strength though. Today I need to get in a DBL jerk set for 6 minutes and then rest. I have a bit more cardio to do but will try to get a walk in before training.

It builds muscle and endurance, I need both. Today was a 8 minute snatch set and I stayed on the arms 4 minutes in a row to simulate a lift, brutal since I stayed up way too late again... Oh well I enjoyed the movie and had some time with hubby.

Double bell 14kg rack holds 3-5 breathe in rack 2-3 breathe overhead for 8 minutes, this is by far one of the most brutal training that comes up. They wear you out and you aren't even going fast. Classes were great though so that always helps. I get plenty in the first class and do some the second class. I am looking forward to the weekend after training on Saturday, I need to do my certification reps for my level two and then decide on training. Oh joy. But at least it will be done.

6346 lots of work with classes and warm up for training. I had them work really hard and did a couple rounds and laid off since my foot is driving me crazy. 683 with class we had a lot of work going on and it was a calorie crusher, training this am was 208 swing snatch, I really like these because they clean up the snatch. 2195 so far, getting there. Might have a day off tomorrow until classes. I plan to train some and do the upper and core class. Have a great Thursday.

That's a great number though. I did some training last night playing catch up this week had an issue with one of the competitors from the meet and she wrote me a hate message so it threw off my training on Monday. I've come to realize you can never please all the people all the time and life goes on. Anyways I did get in my mega training session this am, what a hard one, he likes to throw these in and make me remember what it's like to really work for it. 582 more

1304 for the month. Hoping to get in some just swing days this week see what he sends after I finish my week he wrote for me. Have a great Wednesday and breaking it up works just as well as longer sessions.

The elliptical Karl bought me before I left for California because I had mentioned a year or so ago it was a lot nicer on my joints and was spending extra time at the gym to get it in. Now I have one so no excuses and I've pretty much have used it 5 out of 7 days a week so I think it may have been a good investment. We also got it for 1/2 and new because our local Sears was closing.

Elliptical only this am, coach wants me to stay away from training till Friday and then it's on. I do plan to swing some bells tomorrow and get that in. Lower body conditioning for sure. Have an awesome Tuesday and you're doing awesome!

I think we all go through that with winter, even if it wasn't as snowy or cold. I would love to get out and walk more but with training two groups in the evening on Monday and Tuesday, it cuts into my walk times. I'm looking forward to warmer weather so walking later will be possible. Training today was only 7 minutes of double bell long cycle for 87 reps and cardio. I might do the warm up for both groups tonight to get some more in and a gloved snatch set. I was too tired last night. 6557

5218 training again today 5 minute double 14kg long cycle, didn't go well, but it's done. Single bell long cycle 6 minutes with the 16kg went well considering I just started training again. Nice numbers great work. I would love to have an off day but not down for that this week. Next week I'll be off after Wednesday other than the core class for Friday. It's all good. Have a great one.

I need to get something in tonight. I took a night off and was with a group of ladies that I dragon boat with in the summer. We all get together once a month, so I miss that workout for sure. I seem to be needing more rest days lately. I hope to get a bunch in tonight. Having withdrawals at work, LOL.

I know very blessed especially since most meet numbers keep going down because there is so many to chose from these days (which is a good thing) I try not to conflict with other dates, there is one in California but I figure we are hit two different areas so that's okay. I think they are surprised because I have as many registered as they do right now. It's all good. Final training days and getting orders in and set up and such. Have a friend coming to help run the event and she's an awesome lifter as well. It's all good, I am so glad I went out on my own and keep going for it. Nice numbers. I have not wanted to do anything extra, yesterday I was just exhausted by time by peeps showed up for training I wasn't even interested. I have been hitting my new elliptical hubby bought me for an early birthday present a lot so that's paying off. Have a great day.

4299 the 91 today was Double bell jerk with 14kg and 16kg bell so it was plenty. I would love to get a higher number but training will have to happen first. Tomorrow is a minute on off with snatch 16kg max reps, kind of looking forward to this. I will get in some warm up and sets tonight with my peeps getting training in tonight. Have a great one.
