UGGGG!!! Ok, so this was NOT the change I wanted to see when I complained last week!! Instead of being down 10 pounds for this month, so far I am up 4!! I know I didn't do really well this weekend with my in-laws 50th anniversary party, but really?! The whole rest of the month I have been very diligent about my eating and exercise. 2 meals shouldn't derail me like this! I really don't know what has been going on with me the past several months, but I can't lose anything without gaining back twice as much! Soo frustrating!!

I really need to lose 5 lbs this month. My goal of reaching 140 by August 8 seems to be slipping. I think I finally have eating on track. This month, I need to get my gym time up!

I know how you feel. I have been stuck in the 140's since the end of November, fluctuating up and down between 143 and 150. I have tried not to focus on the scale, but it is disappointing.

Good luck to you in your efforts. I think our focus should be on getting healthy, anyway, instead of just a number on the scale.

Hi guys! Sorry I haven't been checking in, I have been crazy busy, just getting back to checking all of the stuff I am involved with here at SP. This month has been crazy. I ran my first Half Marathon on April 11, 2:38:06, so proud of completing it. I took a rest week after that, and yesterday I got started back to exercising. I have also gone off sugar junk food again, 5 days down already! I am trying to keep my grain carb intake lower than my super crazy carb loading phase. My long distance running is over for now, going to give my body a rest and stick to weight loss focused cardio. My running will still be a part of that, just not my main focus for now. I have to get this weight off, I have been stuck at this weight range off and on for about 14 months now, and it is time to get serious. I might still make my goal for this month if I stay on track!

I am so frustrated with the same 4 lbs ups and down for the last 2 months that I have made a HUGE decision....

No change again, but at least I haven't gained it back. I really don't know why I am not seeing any change on the scale! Measurements showed some change, but the last time I wrote down my measurements was in November, so before I started having problems.
Meeting my food and exercise goals, but I think I might be eating too many fruits and not balancing with enough protein. Working on that this week. Hoping for better numbers next week! 4 pounds behind.

I really need to lose 5 lbs this month. My goal of reaching 140 by August 8 seems to be slipping. I think I finally have eating on track. This month, I need to get my gym time up!

I gained my weight back but I will keep trying to eat less calories. I need to snack smarter because I'm always hungry and eat smaller portions at meal time. When I was pregnant I ate small meals every 2-3 hrs, why can't I do that again?! I've been good with my exercises, walking the hilly neighborhood that I live in while wearing my little girl and walking the dog. I'm out to do another walk!

Looks like lots of progress being made! Keep up the good work!

I forgot to weigh before vacation & no scale on vacation so I will just have to wait until Friday! I know I was up 2 lbs before the trip and 2 more after and then back down by 2!

Thanks for that. I think it is a combination of that and that my metabolism is off from when the boys were in the hospital and I wasn't able to eat right.
I just bought some new clothes the last couple of days, went in thinking I knew what size I needed, and ended up 1 to 2 sizes smaller than I thought. I haven't taken my measurements lately, so I probably need to do that as well!

I am with you, izzybear! I have been within that last 10 pounds, but have struggled since I got there over the past few months! Up and down since my boys came home from the hospital in January!

Maybe the spring weather will be just what we need to get motivated and get outside for some great walks and workouts, and we will get there!!

Here I go again. Same goal for this month as the previous 3! I have gone up and down over the last 3 months, between 142 and 150. My goal (again) is to be down to 140 by month-end.

I am trying to use the nutrition tracker. I really don't know where my problem lies. I eat very healthy, only drink water, exercise daily. I have started off the last 3 months good, then gained it back the last week or 2. I think my metabolism is still off from when the boys were in the hospital and I don't know how to fix it! Maybe I can get it worked out this month, and be able to reach my final goal of 133 for May 31.

In the spirit of changing things up, to try to get myself back on track, I am also changing my weigh in day to Friday instead of Monday.

This month I am focusing hard on Fitness Minutes because I found out last month I was pregnant and so since food is very tough area now, I will focus on the exercise and I hope that I see some success from that in my weight!
