I'm trying new ways to serve kale.
I like to add kale to my smoothies. It doesn't change the taste and really bumps up the nutrition.
I've cooked it in the skillet with water and seasons. That's fine.
Here's the thing, I've heard so much good about kale chips that I had to try it.
I cooked them in the oven for about 15 minutes at 350 degrees. First I sprayed them with a little spray oil and added some sea salt.
The crunch is wonderful but the taste: blech! They got so bitter and left the bitter taste in my mouth. Does anyone here have any advice on this. Any way to improve that flavor? I'd love to try again and like them this way because it seems like a great snack.
Thanks, Ursula
