Jackie Warner workouts are very good, but it's not HIIT (high intensity interval training) it's circuit training...mix of strength and cardio exercises. The cardio part is there to help keep your heart rate up to keep calorie burn going.

A great HIIT DVD, if you're into DVDs, is Cathe Friedrich HIIT. You can view clips on her website. www.cathe.com

Or you can Google some HIIT workouts made up by others. When I go to the gym (which is very rarely) I do hit on the treadmill.

emoticon I've done Jackie Warner's core workout and it is this type of interval training. I have it on Exercise on Demand but I may eventually purchase it if it gets removed from the lineup.

I defintely check my fat, but I use the old fashioned Calipers. I saw my fat drop an initial 35% to 12% and I've been maintaining around 15%, which I'm happy with. One of the biggest keys in dropping fat will be your diet. It's 80% of it, along with strength training and cardio. When doing cardio, a great way to maximize your workout is do to High Intensity Interval Training, where you warm up for a few min, then go all out for 30 sec to a minute, then bring your heart rate back down for 2-3 minutes and repeat, and end with a cool down. You don't want to do more than 35 minutes of this type of cardio, as anything more than that isn't really effective.

Keep my fat dropped from 29% to 12% in 18 weeks, but I was under the supervision of a Nutrition Coach.

I got a scale by Health-o-meter and it tracks fat percentage. I was wondering is anyone else monitoring their fat percentage?

Has anyone found the best method to get the fat percentage to drop rapidly?

I've heard that strength training is good for building the muscle which in turn burns the fat for energy, but I don't know where to begin. I really don't want to buy any more exercise equipment, I have enough already.

I have an 8 lb medicine ball; a set of the yoga resistant bands; a mini-stepper with resistance bands attatched; and a pilates resistance ring. I'm taking suggestions on the best way to utilize all of these things to get the maximum strength training.
