think I did okay. haven't checked but I'm watching what I eat and cut back on cookies and snacking after 8. working on gettng rid of my thighs rubbing. so embarrassig at work to hear your legs swishing n a quiet office. so I'm getting rid of the pants

I have not done well in August. in fact I didn't do well for the whole summer. My excuse, having the kids home or too hot outside, too tired, etc. I had done pretty well in the Spring!

At first I was thinking I hadn't really done that well in August, but after weighing and measuring I realized I had been a lot more on plan than off it. I managed to lose 6.2 lbs and a total of 3.25 inches from my chest, waist, and hips. I also managed to bring my BMI down a point and lost 1.92 on my body fat percentage. I'm doing better with my cardio and strength training, but still have lots of room for improvement.

It sounds like everyone has done well in August and is looking forward to September.

August was a pretty good month for me. One big thing I did was that I began a running program. That is pretty huge for me since I have never liked running.

I have maintained my weight for quite some time so my goals for September are going to have a lot to do with kicking up the weight loss. I always do amazing the first several weeks when my eating is in control so I'm pretty excited about how my weight loss will progress in September.

Well I just joined this group in Aug. I have not yet posted on this team. For the month of Aug I started walking again. I also set up my game plan for the month of september. I made my workout calender so that I can have a visual plan to look at. I also made a calender of my have to do daily things. Like drink 8 glasses of water,log into spark input my information,and workout. emoticon

in august, i maintained my weight loss and discovered that i really enjoy something called zumba. for september, i will continue to maintain my weight loss and to try new things.

I had a good month in August. I made major strides in dealing with my depression. I lost 7.4 pounds. I started coming to sparkpeople again, blogging everyday, drinking water, and watching what I eat. I did a little exercise, a little meditation, a few trips to the gym, and some stretching.

In September I'm going to do more exercising, more meditation, more trips to teh gym, and more stretching. I'm going to really focus on reaching each of my sparkpeople goals this month.

August has been a great month for me so far. We ate out a couple of times and I went over my calories but I don't feel bad about it because of the exercise that I have been doing and all of the rest of the time I have been eating properly. I am feeling great and having fun.

This week I plan to keep on track and mix up my strength exercises a little. I have cut back a little on strength exercises and added more cardio. I am now doing strength exercises 3 days per week instead of 6 days per week. I plan to return to the 6 days after about a month if I can find the time and not reduce any of the cardio. It's all about balance and everything is working well for me now.

I've gotten off track since Thursday, I guess. Time to get back!

TODAY I Will...

1) plan my menu
2) plan to STAY BUSY all day, doing something(there's more yardwork to do)
3) plan my workout for the week. Maybe take a week off from P90X. Do some Denise Austin, maybe...

The beginning of the month started out really bad , with my gaining instead of loosing weight and the feeling of just giving up.. but , today things are looking up and Im getting my motivation back,

My goal for this month is to get back on the weight loss and fitness track and stay there. Now that DS is moved and starting law school it's time to concentrate on me. So my plan is to make it to the gym 6 days a week for 40 min of cardio and 15-20 min of strength training, track my calories here on SP (focusing on eating for nutrition, not junk food), and to begin doing yoga 2-3X's per week for 15-20 min. Also plan to continue working on the yard and house.

So far I'm doing well. My goals are to keep exercise consistent and to lose 2 inches or 4-6 pounds. I joined a challenge to lose 8 pounds in August but I don't think that will happen...so I'm keeping it realistic with 4-6 pounds. I'mback down to 150.5 pounds so 4-6 from there would be AWESOME!
