Never did lose that .7 but still dropping inches. I went shopping in my closet & wore a beautiful dress that has not fit in several years. I wore it on Easter & got lots of compliments. emoticon

Oh Come on Scale! I only need a .7 loss by Easter.

Oh well, at least I am not gaining. I usually gain during tax season. I love doing taxes, but it can be stressful at times. Only 12 more returns to go that I know of. I get some really messy returns during March.

I've found to always have 3 plans.

3 plans for exercise: Plan A, Plan B, Plan C
3 plans for food: Plan A, Plan B, Plan C
3 plans for down/depressed/bad attitude days

Then on bad weather days, or bad _________ days, you flip the switch mentally to Plan B, and if that's a no-go, flip to Plan C.

Easter is only 2 weeks away.

The END OF MARCH is only 10 days away including today.

I'm going to make health first priority and ramp things up. I'm not going to wander my way through half of the year and not have any or only small weightloss again this year. The end of March is already ONE QUARTER OF THE YEAR OVER.

Congratulations, Susan! Twenty pounds is fantastic!

My goal has been to keep it off, as I had lost 20 pounds a year ago. Now I'm up 7 and hope to lose most of it. I'll wait a few days to weigh myself; I haven't been doing too well!

I just now today read all the posts. Very motivating! It's 4 weeks 'til Easter, so my goal is to lose 4 pounds. From experience, I know that is a lot even though it doesn't look like a lot. My other goal is to be consistent & almost obsessive about tracking my nutrition.

this past week, my scales indicated I was gaining. Then today, I lost 7 pounds from yesterday's weight. I know it was a lot of fluid. But I am now the lowest weight since joining Spark People. I have lost 25.8 pounds since October 2008. It has been slow. But if it stays off, I will be thrilled.

Let's keep chugging a long.

emoticon Hi Frugal team members. I'm new on this team, but I want to do the challenge too! I think 5lbs. isn't too bad for me. I just started dieting again since last fall and it will be agood push right now. I also will only buy the ingredients in the recipes I plan to make when I shop this week. Nothing extra and nothing unhealthy either!! I plan to walk if the weather is above 40's and not raining or snowing. There...all my new motivations!! I'm in too...for 4 pounds. The funny thing is that I don't haven't the slightest idea whether that is reasonable for me or not. I will find out.

My other goal is to use the nutrition tracker every day as well.

I am hanging tough with the exercise even if I mess up everything else! :-)

Thanks for setting this goal up right now. I have gotten very complacent in the past few weeks (okay - lazy) and I need some renewed motivation. So I am setting a goal of five pounds, a full 8 hours sleep at least five nights in a week and tracking all my eating every day (no excuses).

This is a GREAT challenge! On Sunday it will be 3 weeks til Spring and 5 weeks til Easter!

I will be bold with my goals. That way if I only meet them part way, I will be much further ahead than not having made any at all.

- 2 lbs per week
- 20 mins per day walking - inside with Leslie Sansone if nothing else, and you can find her on the internet for free and do it on your computer, let me know if you need help, or, check out a DVD from the library and run it on your computer. I have several of her DVDs just need to DO IT.

Count me in! I was going to walk everyday during Lent but it has been raining so hard. I am trying to exercise indoors and of course keep those excess calories out of my daily intake!!! Let's go!!!
