emoticon Nicole and Windy!!! Love it that you are joining the fun!!!

As most of you know I am suffering from plantar fasciitis and cannot do my usual 10,000 steps daily. My walking is at a bare minimum, BUT I am still exercising otherwise. I am determined to be resourceful and find new ways of moving the rest of my body. I do mainly weights and floor exercises and soon will try out chair cardio. My foot is not near as painful, but sore, so have been careful.

Here are my total MILES:

Weeks 16 - 30 = 20 MILES

Fellow trekkers, that is all I need from you today or by Saturday morning is your total MILES from the past 2 weeks. Thanks to you who have already posted yours.

Remember, give yourself 1 MILE for every 20 mins of intentional exercise
OR 1 MILE = 2000 steps (for those of you who use a pedometer).

Good morning! I just joined this team this morning, so I am a little behind on the walk, but eager to get started. What better way to bid farewell to Washington D.C., in this Week 3 of our WALK ACROSS AMERICA then by being among the first to explore the newly renovated Washington Monument. Come on, hikers, last one up to the top is a rotten egg! No problem for us......it is only 897 steps!!
