Add to that - stop making excuses. If you eat it, assume responsibility. Whining doesn't help and the blame lies squarely with each of us.

There are two options regarding committment - your either IN or your OUT. There is no such thing as life in-between.

A person who wants something will find a way..
A person who doesn't will find an excuse...

The greatest day in your life and mine is when we take total responsibility for our attitudes. That's the day we truly grow up.

Wow-This is a powerful statement. I shrink with shame as this describes me. I have never really faced it The Buck Starts/Stops Here

**This is a posting a SparkFriend of mine did on a team we co-lead together. It is worth posting here to share with all of you. Do you know just who is responsible for the way you are, the things you do, the decisions you make? I feel secure in the knowledge that you all answered that question with the response I am. That's the bottom line, the buck stops here, end of the road, however you phrase it. We each own our responsibility. We are responsible for getting out of shape, over eating, gaining weight, making excuses why all this happened. This is an easy responsibility to accept. The hard responsibility is the one each of us decided to take on when we joined Spark. That's the responsibility of doing something about the mess we made of ourselves with the other responsibility, that didn't work out so well. So here we are at the end of another year. Are you ready to continue into the next year by really being responsible for staying on your program, no long out of the way detours? We will all have a few short ones along the way, that is just part of life, those we can recover from and quickly. Let's go into the new year and take our responsibilities with us stronger than ever. Happy Holidays!

. I will copy/paste and print so I will read it every day. I will keep it close to my food sheet.

The clothes I bought in July for my Alaska vacation no longer fit. I despair sometimes what I am going to wear to church.

Today I will weigh and measure, and track what I eat.

Blessings for the Holiday Season,
Merry Christmas emoticon

so true. I have, at the end of the year, been one of those that reached my goal. Now the hard part comes, keeping in off.
