On a roll but I hate when it's that time of the month. Seems like I loose all of my strength to eat good. It's Friday but I will not give up! Will exercise tonight.

So I gained back the few pounds I lost- I know it's due to PMS'ing and yesterday I just had to have french fries LOL but I'm back on track today and I'm not giving up!!!

I've been forgetting to post here. I have been doing the following daily:

5 minutes jumping rope (a lot harder than I thought it would be but I'm getting better)
5 minutes jumping jacks
and my spark strength training:
2 sets 15 push ups modified
2 sets of 15 rotating sit ups
2 sets of 15 lunges
2 sets of 15 back raises

I'm learning that it's a lot easier for me to stick to this 15-20 minutes work out everyday than to do an hour every other day. I usually do the above while watching a tv show.

I gained 2 pounds over the last week. I'm not discouraged because I read an article from Beach Body saying that week two (which I'm in) is usually when you gain a couple of pounds due to your body getting used to the work outs. Plus it's that time of the month and I'm retaining water. I'm going to just keep doing what I'm doing and see what next Thursday brings.

I did the plank last night. I could only hold it for 20 seconds at a time but I did it a few times so a total of 60 seconds. I also did some leg lifts.. so far I'm down 3 pounds since last Thursday!!! Just being conscious of how much I eat.
Fruits and veggies have not been an issue since I eat them with each meal daily anyways but I eat A LOT of food in general so I have been conscious of how my body feels, is it full or am I still hungry and voila 3 pounds gone!!!!!!

I am on track for finishing strong been drinking my water, eating veggies, running to the bathroom, taking the stairs. I added in a 'girdle' during the day to help me remember not to get too comfy in my size 20W pants. Goal is to get back into my size 14's by July

I hope that you are having a great Year! I posted a January Challenge. You can start today or on January 6th! It will run for 4 weeks. The goal is to lose at least 8 pounds.

Ground rules: Log into SP and track your weight, participate by posting daily, and motivate each other. We can do this together!!!

Week 1 - Exercise 30 minutes, eat 5 fruit/veggies, drink 8 glasses of water daily, 10 - 50 second planks per day
Week 2 - Repeat of week 1 adding 1 hour of exercise, 100 planks, 50 situps
Week 3 - Cardio 1 hour, 50 situps, eat 5 fruit, 5 veggies, 8 glasses of water daily, chart eating
Week 4 - Log onto sparkpeople daily, complete week 2 again
