I have so many cans now but that wasn't always the case. I have changed my way of thinking from can't to can. Now, I can exercise, I can eat healthy, I can make sure to give thanks, I can think positive...and the can's just keep on coming. lol

I also shared a fear of driving long distances by myself...a couple of years ago, I drove from Dallas to Huntsville, which is about a 3 hour drive...I just made sure people knew I was on the road and checked in periodically...LOL...now I can do it with no problem

A friend from another team sent me a motivational quote. I thought about it and sent her a response. I am sharing both with you.

Success comes in cans, failure in can'ts.

My response:
So true. I have always been fearful of long distance driving. The year that I was separated (later divorced) I planned a vacation for me and the girls. I was living in Massachusetts at the time and I was taking them to a farm in upstate New York. I could drive, about 3.5 hours or fly into NYC and have a 6 hour bus ride to the location or something similar by flying into Albany or Buffalo. Needless to say the drive across the state was the sensible thing to do. It took a lot of prayer to get me to the farm. Now, whenever I have fear of doing something even this many years later, I remind myself of that "can" and I move forward. I remind myself of the "can" that allowed me to move to Florida with two children under the age of 10 not knowing anyone, or the "can" that enabled me to stop smoking--no patches, no electronic cigarettes. If I take time to think about it, I have a enough "cans" to overpower all my "can'ts". Thanks for providing food for thought.

W.O.C. please share you "Cans" with us.
