Completed the toning video for day 4 & 20min of cardio. This is the second day of my new cardio video, and boy it was a lot tougher today than it was yesterday. I expect it to be even worse for the new few days or so until my body & endurance catches up.

The more you exercise the more strength you will gain. It's only 10 minutes. emoticon

I didn't quite realize just how out of shape I exactly was until I started these workouts. The first video looked pretty simple enough as I watched it. But when I started to practice, it was more difficult than I thought. I had to take frequent breaks, pause the video, and count the steps because I wanted to get the right amount in. Due to my current fitness level this may be a challenge for me, but you know what I'm doing it anyway! I am out of breath, but I am proud of myself, because I remember the quote: "No matter how small you are going, you are still lapping everybody on the couch." Which reminds me that at least I am trying, right? I am using my low energy level not to get discouraged, but to motivate, and remind myself that the more I start to exercise on a regular basis, the better I will begin to feel. After this workout, I feel pretty good actually & energized. emoticon
