House cleaning is a great way to exercise and relive stress :). I see it as getting the best of both because once your done cleaning you know you burned calories and you are able to see the beautiful results from it(no clutter all clean). Keep up the great work MARYFREE2013 emoticon

Hello Funz81, exercising inside this time of year seems to be all the rage lol. I personally enjoy working out inside because I use DVDs for most of them, yoga before bed. I do like to get out for walks when weather permits me to. Keep up the great work and not letting mother nature derail you from your goal emoticon

With the temperature at -3 degrees as mid morning, I am definitely working out inside. My daughter loaned my their treadmill (she was glad to get it out of the house since they weren't using it right now). It sits in our dining room--a lovely addition to our decor! emoticon But who cares, right? As long as I can exercise! And, of course, a set of 5 lb. Dumbbells. So far, so good. emoticon

Go girl! Housekeeping (not my fav exercise, LOL) is definitely a workout, even with machines to help. By the time I finish vacuuming, I'm out of breath, and if I add mopping the kitchen floor, I'm seriously rubber legged! However, that may be because now that the kids are off on their own and we no longer have pets or house plants, I don't do that kind of cleaning very often. Guess if I did it more, like every day according to my aunts, I'd be in better shape... Hey, some of those aunts never used mops because they didn't think it got the floor as clean as scrubbing on hands and knees. Yikes! I'd never be able to get back up again, and I'm younger than they were.

Guess we just have to work gradually up to that level of fitness. You'll do it-- and so will I!

Using house cleaning and videos today. I saw something today that the first 30 Minutes you workout that you are burning sugars and calories. Then it enters the FAT burning zone! That is where I need t be!
