Hi Barb,

With my inquiry I have had many replies. Only one member reported that she uses Google Chrome and that it worked properly. Others said that with IE it comes and goes. Works one day and not the next. All Firefox uses have not problems.

You click on 'Add an Emoticon', hold 'm' down and then pick your emoticon emoticon emoticon take your finger of 'm' when finished and closed the window.

Another reply said that it may depend on the version you have, or if all the necessary 'add on or plug ins' that various programs use are on.

Hope this helps
Sandra

I am using Google Chrome. Only once did I get the 'm' to work on Explorer. Do you hold the 'm' down the whole time OR just in between emoticons? I tried to do it again today, and it didn't work again.

Hi Barb, I am using Firefox and the 'm' works. If you are using Explorer the 'm' no longer works. I will look into it for you, there may be another way.

Thanks for the link! Today we put up some Christmas curtains in the dining area. Yesterday, we had our last extended family party. It was on DH's side. They took a family picture of the brothers and sisters -- eleven surviving. It is always quite a large family gathering with a few friends attending. We still have the church family celebration on the 15th. I am not sure if I will do open house this year or not. Have a great week everybody.

Oh, by the way, Sandra, did you get the "m" emoticon thing to work for you? I have been trying to get the repeat emoticons, but only got it to work once. If you have any tips, please advise.

Thanks! emoticon

Well the 1st of December is nearly here and it is just down hill all the way to Christmas, time will go very fast and there is much to do. How are you all going with your preparations for Christmas? For those of you who are not aware, spark people has a calendar for December called: 31 Days to Healthier Holidays. link below. It may help you with your preparations and ways to avoid the pit falls on food for this time of year.

Then 'click here' to download, PDF file.

This year I won't have much to do; most of the family and grandchildren are interstate so it will probably be gift vouchers, not so expensive as sending gifts by mail. Postage can cost more than the gift, and grandchildren like to see large boxes.

Have a great week
