Wow, that's incredible! You have really been working your tush off, haven't you?

I only take one measurement: calves. Silly, right? I've had tree trunk legs since I was a kid (totally genetics), and when I was younger it always prevented me from feeling confident in bathing suits, shorts, and cute skirts and dresses. It's something I can joke about now, because I have better self-esteem, acknowledge the benefits of having strong legs, and am in better shape than when I was a teen, but it's still an aspect of my appearance that I would be thrilled to conquer.

I am so in love with this round of TF! I feel so energized and confident! I feel like I could take on the whole world! Beachbody has saved me from a life of obesity! I am so thankful for their videos! Chalene is my favorite trainer they have.

This week did not seem too hard to me. I did forget how long the 55 EZ was...it felt like it was never going to stop but I made my way through it with a good calorie burn. I love to see the number on my heart rate monitor. With every pound I lose I know I am going to have to work harder to get my heart rate up and for the calorie burn to be just as good.

Next week I am moving Sundays routine to Wednesday so I have one day off from the two programs I am doing.

P.S. My hubby started Insanity tonight....the fit test about killed him emoticon

Hello, Turbo team! Just checking in with everyone who started the round on or near Monday, August 13. According to the class schedule, we are DONE with week 1, but don't get down on yourself if you're a few days behind.

How did it go for all of you?

For those who have gone through the program before, has it been any easier than the first time you did it? Or do you feel like you've become "deconditioned" since the last time you did TurboFire?

TF newbies, what do you think so far? Do you have any questions about anything you've seen/done? Curious about what to expect in the upcoming weeks? Need modifications other than the ones demonstrated by Alee (the adorable one always house-right of Chalene?)

To all: how does the experience compare to the most recent program you completed or attempted?

For my part, I am still a little behind because I started late. We were out of town and although I took my DVDs with me, the player at my father-in-law's didn't like them one bit. It did give me a chance to try out some of the workouts in the Workout Trainer app by Skimble (which, incidentally, I recommend; there is plenty of good -free- content.) But I am glad to be back into it, and feeling strong and empowered, particularly since, like at least one other team member, I'm doing ChaLEAN Extreme, as well.

I did 55EZ late Sunday ("tonight," but technically -yesterday- since it's past midnight) even though I was tired from the earlier workout, and from the day in general, and for the first time (apart from when I overstressed my back and took things super-kind for about a week) I did not lay everything out there -- yes, I actually modified some stuff, and it was still a great workout. I will try to remember that even without all the tuck-jumps and deep lunges, it is hard work, for those days when I'm not really feeling it but need to convince myself to just get it done.

Turbo on, ladies!
