The DASH diet is supposed to be awesome. It helps with blood pressure too! DASH stands for Dietary Approach to Stop Hypertension.

Anyone can give up, it's the easiest thing in the world to do. But to hold it together when everyone else would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength

I must learn to love the fool in me- the one who feels too much, talks too much, takes too many chances, wins sometimes and loses often, lacks self-control, loves and hates, hurts and gets hurt, promises and breaks promises, laughs and cries...

Great job Donna!

I have heard of the Dash Diet but don't really know much about it. For me personally, dieting does not work. When I have had success, it comes down to tracking and exercising regularly. I don't restrict any food. I just track it, healthy or not, and try to make it fit into my schedule.

Thank you so much Bob Schwartz (I Run, Therefore I Am- Nuts!) for this lovely, funny insight into my life.

Two days in a row with no meat...and Thursday I only had one meal with meat. So far so good!

I am still doing well. 3/3 for the New Year. First scheduled rest day is Friday so only 2 more days for my streak this week:)

I am actually recommiting to my reading time. I spend so much time Sparking, exercising, and meal planning, that I am going to allow myself the leisure of more reading time.

I plan to cut down on my meat consumption. Eat more beans, nuts, fruits, veggies, and non-meat protein sources. Not cutting out meat all together but just back some.

Basically just recommitting to Spark. Tracking especially. I know with that comes almost automatic weight loss for me.

Regular exercise...I am 2/2 in the New Year.

Good luck on the Leptin Reset
