I've been surprised at the different kinds of kale. First kind we tried were curly leaves & reminded me of the taste of broccoli. Since then, DD found pkgs of baby kale, which tastes very much like baby spinach.

I prefer the baby kale. I finally decided to try kale in a smoothie. I really thought it would be tiny leaf fragments to stick in ones teeth. It doesn't do that, tho. It blended right into the frozen fruit smoothie & we couldn't even tell it was in there. Amazing.

Maybe it's a way that you fixed something. Or, maybe, it's a food that you always thought you "hated". Maybe, you just THOUGHT you'd hate it, but, were SURPRISED to find that you actually like it....

What food did you try & discover that you actually LIKED, instead of disliking it???

(Borrowing what I just mentioned in another thread). I've always liked fresh baby carrots. What surprised me, was when I decided to cook them. DD & I both really liked them cooked. Yummy.
