Again I've been up since 5 AM, and it's not even 7 yer, but same as Saturday's list of Friday: (mushrooms, onion, green peppers, mashed cauliflower, string beans, watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple,) and for Saturday add cranberries, cabbage, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, celery and red peppers.

It's Sunday, I never answered on Saturday. Too busy with by daughter and her grown son.Don't eat much vegetables until dinner, but today have already had mushrooms and fried onions (in eggs) and some carrots. Dinner will include broccoli, green beans, onions, yellow squash, zucchini, carrots, mushrooms, then we'll top it off with fruit and nuts. (I never know what fruit until he serves it, so I can't be specific yet.

DH has had kidney stones. Oh my, some of them were terrible. Never needed surgery for them, but, he spent some time in the ER.

Been there done that. I was hospitalized once for kidney stones, had a stent put in, and then removed a few days later. I had my gallbladder removed for stones, too. But the "best" story was when I passed a kidney stone at work! (Heard a clink in the bowl and the pain was gone!) Beats going to the hospital any day!

As far as veggies go, it's the usual, so I won't list them again

Yum Yum, I had some watermelon, cut up and have 3 containers in the freezer, and 2 in the fridge to nibble on later, and I still have a half of watermelon, I called my Sibs and they all had the same idea, so I called my sis and pleaded with her & she'll take the other half, now to walk it over to her. Janice, cherries emoticon are my husband's must have every night. Especially the Queen Anne or Rainer white cherries, which we were just able to get this year. They have a very limited season.
Yesterday, there was no salad, but still a large variety of vegetables that were pre-cooked. Husband had pizza at our neighbors, so we were limited as to how much of my food we could bring. And we stayed so late we didn't have the fruit afterwards. We had the nuts at their house as we played spades.

Can I just say same as yesterday? He makes a ton of veggies and freezes them, so we have a large variety every day, topped by the fruit and nuts we eat as we watch TV after dinner. I am still losing by not having carbs other than the fruit and veggies and nuts!

Too early in the morning, but already had onions and mushroom in the scrambles eggs. Will give the complete run down after dinner. I know it's supposedly counter-productive to skip lunch, but it seems to work for us. (Our lo carb diet is working, especially added to our exercise schedule of swimming at least an hour a day.)
