I like walking the neighborhood with my kids. They burn some energy while I burn calories! there's a park not far from us, I'll have to measure the distance next time we go, so we like to change things up by heading there when we're not in a hurry. When we go to larger parks we walk the nature trails. I'm trying to find ways to get more variety though, I've read that changing things up keeps your momentum going.

No really, not in a bad way, but it's so COLD down here in the souther hemisphere and here you all are talking about lovely out doors activitie that would be SOOOO great if it was only a little warmer!

I love being out side and having the wind blow and feeling the sun beating down on me.. its nice!

I love walking and jogging. i hope to run someday

I LOVE THE OUTDOORS. I CAME FROM A MOUNTAIN TOWN AND MOVED TO THE DESERT. 115 DEGRESS OUT! SO I DONT DO THE WORKOUTS TILL FALL AND WINTER WHEN IT IS NICE OUT. TOO HOT! BUT WHEN I GO VISIT FAMILY I ALWAYS GO FOR LONG WALKS IN THE WOODS AND HIKE!

I like to go outside on the nice days. We have a few parks around here. So I go back and forth to keep it instering and keep me going.

I am in FL and the humidity has been killing me, I like to go for walks. But My hubby just asked me what I want for my birthday and I asked for a pair of roller blades! He said only if I help him learn. I can't wait, I used to LOVE roller-skating then roller-bladng. I haven’t done it in like 10 yrs tho. But I am sure it will become my new favorite! I don't have a bike either but I know I would like to do that also.

With the heat and humidty I had ot take it inside for the most part I had to go out and treat myslef to exercise equipment ot use now other wise I would not be getting any workouts but i still peffer the nature trail to equipment

I much prefer exercising outdoors to using indoor equipment. It gets too boring for me, and I just end up hating exercise that way.

I usually go with my fiance and my dog Jake out to hike the trails at my local state park. There are multiple trails to follow, and it's all sorts of terrain - so it equals a pretty good workout.

What have you done today to make you feel proud???

Goal #1 - 25lbs
Completed: July 29! :)

Oh how I wish it was 80 degrees here that would be perfect here in AZ it was 108 yesterday and should be about the same all week. We do have a 3 mile track around our subdivision which we did all the time but with this heat you have to go late at night or early in the morning. Other than that it is exercise at home. Liz

I know what you mean. I'm in WI, and it was over 80 degrees here the last time I went. I had to pace myself after a while so I wouldn't pass out. And I had a glass of water before I went.
