Trust me, circuit training will kick your butt just like running. Maybe more because it's an all over workout.

Thank you for the compliments! I think I may try to jump rope in between the circuit training. I knew that it was cardio, but if I am noting running or walking I don't feel like I am doing cardio.

LOL- love the name and photo. Too funny. Anyway, keep in mind that circuit training IS cardio according to the spark counter. Also, as it gets to where it's no longer a challenge, add 60 second bursts of cardio in between your strength training sets. Maybe 60 seconds of jumping jacks, mountain climbers, running in place, jump rope, etc. This will totally nuke those calories and inches off of you!

That would be great! Any extra cardio will help you. You can start off with 15mins and then by the end of one to two weeks after doing that you may want to do more. Just remember to change up your exercise routine so you don't tire your muscles out. Keep up the great work. I have to get back into my workout! I just got back form vacation on Sunday. I tried to maintain my diet but it was hard, but I am back into it. :) you keep up the great work.

I have a pretty random question. I am starting a new work out plan. I am trying to change things up to see if it helps my weight loss a little better. I am planning on doing circuit training 4 times a week. When I do the circuit training I only plan on doing cardio for 15 minutes to warm up. Either on the tread mill. Is that too little cardio? I am also doing running/ walking 2 times a week out doors for 40 minutes. I know in order to lose weight you must do cardio, but I want to be able to change it up with the circuit training.

Don't know if anybody has an answer for me, but any help would be a plus. Thanks!
