My goal was to lose 50 lbs by my 1 year Sparkaversery. I am only down 10 so far so I probably won't make it, but that is okay I am going to see how close I come. I have lost a total of 8.5 inches overall (since measuring in mid-July) and feel that is a very strong positive. At least I know the exercise is working.

I am getting my nutrition plan together too. That is a difficult one for me as I am not a big veggie eater and have to consciously think of ways to get in more veggies. Overall I think I am doing well.

I still may make my goal. The weight issue has to kick in sometime with all this exercise and eating better. We will see how close I come to the 50 lbs by the end of January...

Great job, Andi!!!

Update on my 2011 goals. :)

1. Lose 20 pounds by the end of the year (5 pounds per quarter)
2. Exercise 3x per week for 20 min. consistently by the end of Q1, and 5x per week for 30 min. by the end of the year.
3. To quit smoking by the end of January.

As for 1 - well, I've gained. It's only a couple pounds, but I blame it on the extra strength training I've done this month and also quitting smoking (serious sweets cravings!).

For number 2 - I have exceeded this goal so far. I am doing strength training for a min of 10 minutes 5 - 6 times per week. I have also done cardio for at least 10 minutes 3 - 4 days per week. So yay!!

And the last one - well, I quit smoking on January 5th and haven't had a single cigarette since.

January 24th update

2011 goals for me this year are:

1) Swim 1.5 miles a week
2) Jillian Michael's 2011 Wii - 4x a week.
3) complete monthly challenges with this team

I have swam 1 mile this week so far. emoticon
Haven`t did my workout yet emoticon
still doing the challenge with the team emoticon

Not too bad.....

Awesome goals so far ladies!
I had to take a week off of swimming cuz the pool`s closed for maintenance, emoticon
missed one of my workouts on NYE.
Other than that I`m working on my goals.

1. lose some inches
2. exercise at least 20+ a day
3. catch up on reading
4. work on spare bedroom to re-organize

My health goals for this year are:

1. Work out 3x a week
2. Drink 8 glasses of water a day.
3. Take my multivitamin daily.
4. Lose 40 pounds by the end of the year.

I've got more resolutions, but most of them aren't health related.
