Start with small steps and momentum will build. Celebrate moving in the direction of increased happiness now! With a plan and persistence moving towards your goals all things are possible! Adopt an attitude of gratitude. Be thankful for everything you have. It may not be what you want be show you're thankful for it anyway.

Sticking with the same goals again this week, 7000 min steps/day, 70000 steps/week. 200 VAM (now that I've figured out how to get to those again!), 300 stairs/week. I hit my weekly step and VAM goals last week, missed one day on my step/day goal, and was just short on my week stairs goal, but I will hit them this week! emoticon

Thanks for continuting this, Raśl!
I don't support FitBit's arbitrary change in the way they're calculating minutes. I hope they revert back to the original standard.

I did extremely well with my steps last week. This week will be more of a challenge, but I'll do my best. My daily minimum goal is 11,000 steps. I hope to exceed 15,000 steps at least three days this week.

I am going to keep my daily goal to 27,000 steps per day and keep my weekly goal to 200,000. I will now track my total Active Time. My goal is to keep it above 7 hours daily. I will also be tracking my floors climbed but as I don't really encounter many steps in my travel I will be interested in seeing how high I can get this number on a daily basis. Keep moving people, I know I will! DON'T GIVE UP!!!

OUR THREAD CONTINUES TO GROW EACH WEEK!

IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED THAT OUR MEMBERS WHO JOIN THIS THREAD USE THE EDIT FEATURE ON THEIR INITIAL ENTRY.
emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
DOING SO WILL KEEP THIS THREAD MANAGEABLE AND ALSO MAKE IT EASIER TO TRACK EACH MEMBER'S DAILY PROGRESS.

An easy way to find your initial entry is to hold down the CTRL key and your F key. This will bring up your FIND box. Enter your SparkName and hit enter. This will take you to your first entry. Click on the EDIT MY POST button and add your steps for that day. Then just click on the POST MESSAGE button and you have edited your entry! If you have any questions/comments please send me a SparkMail. emoticon again!

A BIG THANKS TO ALL OF YOU THAT HAVE BEEN USING THE EDIT BUTTON WHEN YOU POST!!! I continue to be very impressed by your daily steps! emoticon

I love all the activity on this thread! Welcome to each and every one of you and I hope that you accomplish your goals this week. I WOULD LOVE TO GIVE A BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO JOINED THIS THREAD THIS PAST WEEK! We were 29 strong this past week!! That is an increase of 1 member from last week! I continue to be amazed at your step counts, all of you should be very proud of yourselves!

We are still #1 in the Computer & Electronics category?! That is amazing! As of the posting of this post, we are now at (drum roll please!) 40,420 members strong! That is (continue with a drum roll please!) 429 more than last week! That is a decrease of 14 members from last week. With the announcement of the new FitBit devices (note our new team logo!) our team numbers have literally exploded! I anticipated that our numbers would continue to increase in January but we are now in April and the membership rolls continue to be impressive! We have now burst through the 40,000 mark and are moving towards the 41,000 mark!!! emoticon Wow!

emoticon Welcome to all of our new team members and thank you for joining our weekly steps goal!!!

I am going to run with this comment for another week....
I read so much chatter about FitBit's new wrist activity products. Some good, some not so good. I am interested in obtaining one and comparing it's readings to my trusty One. I wonder how they would compare. I would love to know which FitBit product you are currently using.

FitBit recently eliminated the FAIRLY MODERATE category of exercise on their member's home page. They also have combined their MODERATE and VERY categories to reflect the total of ACTIVE TIME one has on a daily basis. This change resulted in a drastic reduction of active minutes. I am not certain I agree with this change. Well good news, you can still obtain your MODERATELY ACTIVE minutes by changing your DASHBOARD to the OLD DASHBOARD setting on your FB homepage. You can do so through your SETTINGS option on your homepage. You are able to go back and forth between the NEW DASHBOARD and the OLD DASHBOARD at will.

One more thing, I recently had a member make a comment that our weekly schedule did not match the STEPS TILE on your FB homepage. Did you know that you can adjust what day of the week your week starts? You can choose to start your week on Sunday or Monday in the SETTINGS. If you select Sunday (as I have done) you will not see this change in the 7 DAY category BUT YOU WILL SEE THE CHANGE IN THE 28 DAY CATEGORY. This option can be very helpful to those members who forget to make a daily entry into this challenge and need an easy way to see all of the steps he/she have made this past week.
OK, once again I am stepping down from my soap box!

All readings courtesy of my ONE:

04/12: 33,062 (VAM: 18-Active Time: 8:40-Floors: 0)
04/13: 30,910 (VAM: 15-Active Time: 8:21-Floors: 3)
04/14: 30,094 (VAM: 55-Active Time: 7:55-Floors: 9)
04/15: 30,039 (VAM: 12-Active Time: 7:34-Floors: 12)
04/16: 33,642 (VAM: 52-Active Time: 8:23-Floors: 12)
04/17: 27,214 (VAM: 3-Active Time: 7:30-Floors: 9)
04/18: 32,119 (VAM: 60-Active Time: 9:32-Floors: 0)

Another week in the books! This past week I took a total of 217,135 steps for a daily average of 31,019 steps. I earned 215 VAMs or 30 VAMSs per day. I was active for 57:55 this past week for a daily average of 8:16 per day and I climbed a total of 41 floors. I am definitely ready for next week, are you?!
