Who hasn't opened a window or turned on the air conditioner when you get a little drowsy while driving? (oops!)

This is one of the subjects where knowing what to do is easy...it's the doing part that gets hard.

Not surprisingly I got a 10 out of 10. It's not that I don't know how to sleep, its more of my body doesn't want to sleep. I can be falling asleep sitting up but as soon as I get in bed I can't fall asleep. Or be sleepy in bed but despite my best trying still not fall asleep. I hate having to take an rx to help give me a boost during the day, but until my sleep gets better I don't really feel I have much of a choice. (the sleep rx's only help like every other night at best and I'd really rather not be taking any rx's that affect my alertness level)

I got 9/10 and was a bit irked about it. I'm still not sure I'm wrong. When it mentions taking a bath as a way to relax before going to bed...I said NO. I have read over and over and even been told by my doctor it affects your body temperature, and then your body is trying to re-regulate and it can make it hard to go to sleep. So, I got it wrong...but I'm not sure I am. :-)

I scored correctly on all 10 too. Like most here, I've wrestled with insomnia for a long time and have heard all of the do's and don'ts. Getting them to work for me is something else altogether. However I've never done a structured, focused approach to the problem and I have hope that this challenge will encourage me to do just that.

I knew 10/10. It's not that I don't know what to do, it's that I don't pick myself up and carry myself to bed when I get tired. I do just one more thing and one more thing until it's at least an hour or more past my bedtime. Working to break that bad habit!
