I too just completed Week 3 and I can't wait to hop on the scale tomorrow to see the results for this week. I'm getting a little tired each day...putting it off but eventually getting to it. Hopefully I can complete the last week with as much intensity as the first three.

Completed week 3 today, and feel great. This program is really sneaky by just starting with 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, I just do other things as well since I am already sweaty. The other videos that I have incorporated are jump roping (love it), kickboxing (ok), and the core Pilates (love it). My husband called me the energizer bunny today because he can see my energy level increase. It felt good when he said it. I actually almost feel like I need to work out after work, and has turned out to be "me time". Oh, and I also bought a simple scale this week. I can't believe that this is something that I have stuck with for 2 months now. Great program.

I just begun week 3. However, I now have to face the challenge of strep throat. If permisssible, I need a couple of days, and then hopefully I will be ready to continue. I would like to begin the third week again if possible.

Funny, I was nervous to do this challenge, and now it's week 3 and I'm doing great! I only missed two days, and made them up. I'm also doing the diabetes challenge, so really I have extra in, because I'm not using one challenge exercise for the other, i'm doing both sets. I've increased my 1.5 mile/30 minute walk to 2 mile/40 minute walk. I do have knee pain I'm working through, actually think all the walking and exercise is making it better! I actually think I'm building a little bit of strength? I'm doing great with the water, fruit, veggies, making my meals and planning, not to say I have slipped a little, but, the new me is kinda okay with it, i have not once thrown in the towel, just make up for it and try to tweak the rest of the day to balance it out. I shoot for the lower end of my calorie range so that if I slip I have a bit of wiggle room, or if I need to fit more carbs, i have the extra calorie room to fit them in. Trying hard to keep it all balanced... Okay, i know it's long, but I pretty much only post once a week :)

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!!!!

Week three is going awesome. I am so glad that I went for a "redo" after being sick last week. I've added tons of vegetable filled dishes to the menu this week. Last night we had Nathan's Two Thumbs Up Ratatouille-delicious. I did extra cardio last weekend and have ramped up the intensity of my cardio workouts this week, since I can't lengthen my sessions at lunch. I also have tomorrow of and am aiming to do a 10 mile run to end the week strong. Wish me luck!

I had a GREAT day 2 of my 3rd week. I had a bad first day because I was unable to do my video, but I did it on day 2 along with my day 2 video, lower body workout with resistance band
and increased my cardio by 10 minutes (40 min total). Looking forward to a solid 3rd week of exercise! emoticon

I am starting week 3 today.. Week 2 was a challenge, but I am ready for this week. I will be adding more time on the treadmill, maybe adjusting the incline. Fruits and veggies will be ok because I'm on SB. Good luck everyone!

I finished week 3 mid-week, as I took a small break last week to travel. I get in between 7 and 10 fruits and veggies every day, so that part of the challenge was the easiest part!

I had trouble with some portions of the videos the first two weeks, but since then they have gotten better. This week my only issue was trying to do three days worth of videos in one day...ouch! By day three video my core muscles had had enough.

I added at least 10 minutes to everyone of my cardio workouts, and added a 7th day that I don't usually do.

Hope you all have a successful week!

Looking forward to tomorrow being the end of week 3 and no cardio. I know next week is going to be tough though. But I can do it. I haven't lost any weight yet but muscles have been sore and think I am toning up. I would like to see the scale move though.

Just finished week #3. I did more cardio than what was called for. I can't run very well but I can walk fast; and with my dog! I love fruit and veggies so eating them 5 times a day was easy. I really like those kick boxing videos. Are there more than the two I found? So, on to week #4!

I don't know that I have lost any weight--I actually gained weight at my last weigh in (probably mostly because of inflammation, as I was very sore). So fingers crossed that I see some progress next week that way.

I'm almost done with week 3. I was rocky on the vegetables--I tried to eat them, but I was away from home and so it was challenging, but at least I made the effort and managed to get it most of the time, and come close even if I didn't make it the rest.

I wasn't sure how to amp up my cardio though as I was already pushing myself as hard as I could go--maybe a little too hard (hence why I was so sore). But I think I nailed that--

300 minutes of cardio (goal was 150) and 3333 calories burned (goal was 2300.) I fenced twice, once for an hour and a half on Sunday and again on Wed. for over two hours. I got in my normal 30 minutes the other 3 days, but at a higher intensity. Kicked my tail bone hard and then some--my hip now hurts and I barely managed to get through the day 5 and 6 videos (fencing is hard on both upper and lower body muscles, so those workouts were really, really rough--and day 5, which works the hip hard, is a really hard one for me on a good day). I am glad that tomorrow is a rest day--well, I have the Day 7 video, but no cardio. Whoo hoo!

I can't really say that the videos are getting easier, though. I still feel like I'm struggling.

In amping up my cardio I have been trying to run.
MY SHINS really start hurting though. Any good stretches or advice for this problem?

I drop back down to walking fast when it gets to extreme and it goes away but, OUCH I thought since
I've been doing this for over a month I wouldn't get shin splints.

Last day of week three and I chose the New Bootcamp Day 7 (Abs with the ball) totally by mistake. I think bonus toning would have come from me laughing at my efforts to control that pesky ball. Good way to end week three. Had a great 30 min walk today too.

LOL JulesRules78!! I had that same fun with my 10 year old over the weekend. But he got whacked on the eye when he went up for a high five and I missed. He dissolved into giggles, though, and no bruise. I started Week 3 today after a two-day hiatus. Been fighting off mild dehydration so I chugged some Pedialyte and hopped back in there. (I'm hyper, so can't even sit still when sick.)

I'm currently on W3, D5.

This week is proving to be easy to get in cardio (and some extra) ... I live in NJ - there is SNOW everywhere ... shoveling yesterday after I got home from work - and about 12-18 inches laying outside right now.

DH had surgery on his hand and can't help me until the end of February - at least ... so DD and I have to shovel. Getting ready to go outside - just trying to figure out a good reason not to!

Have a great day, all!

Today's my last day of week three! Hurray for me - I'm still here. Haven't missed a single day of logging or exercise although I have concentrated on upper body work because of my injured knee. I have kept walking at least 30 minutes each day but at a slower pace than I'd like. I wish there were more chair exercise videos but I also like the ball and desk videos - just CANNOT do squats and lunges right now.

Week three is done!! This month is going by too fast! I was successful in doing the videos each day and even added a new video from either SparkPeople or ExerciseTV 4 of the days. I've had a lot more energy and I even look forward to getting home after work so I can workout! I'm doing alright on the fruit/veggie challenge, snacking on an apple or snap peas and celery during the day has helped. Looking forward to finishing strong!

Started out week 3 with a stomach virus. I'm doing the best I can to get the videos in, but I just don't think that I will make up all of the cardio I missed while in bed this weekend and the beginning of the week. Do you think it would be ok to do my best and to make week 4 my week 3?

I did a kick butt class at the YMCA today called Body Works. She changes it up every week. Today for the hour we did a lot of lunges and 100 push-ups! Yee Ha! Before all that loveliness I walked briskly for 1/2 hour with my good friend. :)

Happy Exercising everyone!

Just finished Day 3 Week 3. I'm able to do more than I was , so I guess that's progress, but I haven't lost any weight so far... emoticon and it's bumming me out! Don't even notice any difference in the fit of my clothes.

Has this happened to anybody else?
