I actually RAN a little. I am amping up my cardio, and I hate running but, to walk faster makes me feel like I'm going to fall so I was running for a while!

I have to say that I am loving this boot camp. It does seem to get easier as the weeks progress, but I am certain that is because we've all worked so hard to get to the point we're at. So, I think it's probably the other way around: they're not easier; we've gotten stronger.
One way I've found to get added veggies in my diet is to make a simple Fritatta for breakfast and that gives me 2 right there.
Here's the recipe if anyone wants it:

1 egg
2 egg whites
1/4c 1% milk
1c chopped, fresh spinach leaves
sliced summer squash
You can add any other veggie you want to the eggs also (olives, mushrooms, bell pepper, onions, etc)

In a skillet, on med heat, (lightly sprayed w/ non-stick coating) place the squash side by side to cover the entire bottom of the skillet. Cover w/ a fitted lid.
In a bowl add the egg, egg whites, milk, and veggies. Mix until thoroughly combined.
When the squash have all cooked through (they will look moist, and more see-through) then add the egg and veggies to the top of the squash, turn the stove down to low (on an electric stove use the #2 setting, on a gas stove a little above simmer would work). When the eggs are cooked through to the top it is finished.
This is one serving, so place it on a plate and enjoy. This is one of my favorite breakfasts, especially with the spinach. Bon Apatite :)

Yes, I think the videos are getting easier in week 3. This is my first day and I like the 1st day video. I also did the 10 minute kickboxing video. It was not too bad. I have a sprained ankle so my walking and gym activities are very limited, but I can do these videos at home. The 5 fruits and veggies this week will be a challenge.

Twinkler-- liked the way you mapped out your goal. Don't know what the letters stand for, but is it about 1 pound a week? What a treat that would be if I could do 1 pound a week! I'd reach my ultimate goal for sure by July 1st. Woo-hoo emoticon

Ok I am going to redo week 3 as I did not meet the fruit and veggie goal or the cardio. I did get in all my boot camp videos but feel like I need to do the week as assigned to move onto week 4. So here I go again!! :)

Day 2 of week 3 - ready to amp up the cardio!! Although the scale isn't showing a change, I'm not fretting - any more. I measured my waist and have lost 1 +1/2 inches in 3 weeks and I can feel muscles under my flab!! Off to burn more fat and build more muscle!

I just finished day 7 of week 3 this morning. I'm tracking fitness and nutrition faithfully. I'm finally back at the weight I was when I first joined SparkPeople. Woot! Here's to going below that line on the chart a week from now.

On day 3 of week 3. I am doing mostly an assortment of on demand videos. I especially like the Crunch dance ones. Also, trying to finish the bridge to 10K plan, hard to do with how cold it has been.

I'm just starting week 3.

Week 2 did not go well. I did all the videos, one a day until Friday (did Friday and Saturday together on Friday) but I was really, really struggling with the carido and hurt all over. Seriously hurt, like I'm hobbling around my apartment like a 90 year old woman and not sleeping at night etc.

So I ended the week at least 30 minutes shy of my carido goal and decided to get the videos in for days 6, 7 and Day 1 of week 3 all in on Friday and then take Saturday off completely--no videos, no cardio, just rest and recovery and a hot bath etc. I feel like a new woman today and went and did 90 minutes of fencing today! Not the 2 hours I normally get in, but I also haven't been able to fence in a month and I worked on some drills which while good for me were also absolutely exhausting. Good thing that tomorrow is a lower body workout *grin*

Week 3 has been an incredible struggle for me. I managed to do all the videos and exercise as well as getting my veggies but am exhausted. Our business had a really busy week so it was so hard to keep up but feel good that I accomplished it. I am concerned as I have only lost 4 pounds over all but have lost inches as well. For the most part I am very happy that I kept up and hope week 4 will go a bit smoother.

Great Job NINJAJO926! I just started my week 3 today. 13 days left! I anticipate having a hard time incorporating my fruit& vege intake, but I think I'll start the day with a homemade smoothie and eat salads along with lunch each day, and that should send me well on my way to that goal.

Completed week three on yesterday. I began have problems with my left knee, but was able to do some upper body exercises. I hope I am able to get back to the videos that do the lower body without my knee acting up again. I have been doing the extra fruits and veggies as well as doing additional exercises. So far I have enjoyed the bootcamp. I can definitely tell a difference in my stamina from the beginning to now.

Just starting week 3. Hopefully doing the videos this week will be easier to do than they were the last 2 weeks. I will be adding 10 more minutes to my cardio sessions this week.

So am I totally out if I got really sick with a cold/flu and I have not been able to work out for the past 3 days???

What should I do if I want to keep up, but I cannot just make up all the missed stuff in 1 day, especially since I am slowly getting my strength back??

Week 3 down! I upped my cardio two days this week to 50 minutes, included speeding up from 3.4 to 3.6. I also do the treadmill with my shapups...so I can't seem to walk as fast it puts some stress on my calves. I also switched up a little by doing some step ups on my step. I am excited to say I have lost the 7 lbs I gained during my Christmas splurge and lost 2 on top of that. WOOHOO!!!!

It's so great to see how many of us are keeping this up! Congrats to everyone on your accomplishments!

I wasn't sure what I could do today. Woke up with my right knee hurting, some nerve pain in my right leg. But I managed to do Day 5 Video (I started Bootcamp on a Wednesday so I am in the middle of my week) and did 30 minutes on the elliptical which I haven't done in a long time.

Upping my cardio, doing the videos, and being diligent about my calories is really stating to pay off.

I'm bearly starting week 3. I had some setbacks during week 2 and wasn't able to workout or do videos for the last 3 days. It will be better this week.

Just finished week 3. I can see some definite improvements from week 1. This will be something I'll continue beyond this challenge for sure.

I was successful with week 3. I ate lots of fruits and veggies. I think I may be doing too much, so I'm gonna pull back a little next week. I'm intrested to see the results. I'm also moving up to stage 3! emoticon

Bottom line: Do your best!
