I will be finishing up week 3 this coming wednesday! I love this challenge it makes me feel great! I have always loved the videos plus I am using zumba and other techniques to get a great workout!

I was feeling a little unmotivated after a hot, humid and BUSY week but the Day 1 video did the trick. I'm ready to take on week 3 now. Can't believe bootcamp is half-over already!

Started ramping up my jog routine last week, so this week's goal is halfway done already.

Does anyone else sub out the toning videos for gym equipment? I like the change of routine, but I'm addicted to the gym visits.

I just finished my video today, this is Day 7 of my third week! I have done the videos almost every day. When I took a day off on Saturday, I made it up by doing the video on Sunday along with the regular video. Lots of walking now that the air has cooled down. Before that, cardio was more difficult, but I used the cardio Kick-boxing video from the New You Boot Camp, and added in some house cleaning and gardening. Walking is so much more fun!

When I walk--I walk faster. At Curves I'm adding another 1/2 -1 whole circuit. Get fruits and veggies no problem! Remembering to track daily is hard--I end up playing catch up.

I did my extra cardio and day 1 video. It is getting easier etch time. Still not doing the exercises full out, but I will get there. This weeks challenge will definitely be veggies. I can't seem to eat more than one serving a day.

I am doing really well with the exercise (each video x 3) and adding the day 1 cardio to my daily cardio routine, but my eating is all over the place... This is my last week in current location and dealing with many going away dinners and treats... Just have to keep MOVING I guess! Enjoy week 3!

I'm up to day 2 of week 3 now. Been doing the workouts - hey, it's ONLY 10min. Done cardio & weights with vids as well. Didn't really bother with Spark vids as I have a whole collection of my own.

During week 2, for the 'compulsory' vids, I used 3 - 6kg (7 - 13lb) weights, depending on the exercise, but still not enough. It's SO hard to judge what to use for single sets of 8 reps. Getting weights work done isn't a problem area for me... see next bit below...

As predicted, the hardest part of last week was logging food. The hardest part of this week is going to be logging food, especially to include 5 serves of vegies/day.

I know my problem areas.... this process is addressing them as it's covering multiple issues: making goals, diet, exercise, record keeping, & accountability- the whole package!

To finish out week three I almost jogged 1.34 without stopping! I was running with a dog, so I had to stop 3 times to let it, you know what! emoticon

week 3 is done! I loved adding extra ST videos in this week and walking more. Doing 2 walks a day.
I plan to add more veggies and fruits to my diet. I know that I don't get what I should.

Well, my week 3 started a week late. I was out of town for a wedding for a week and did not have internet. I am pretty proud of myself though. I went out of my way to find healthy option for food. I spent a total of 24 hours driving. I took a cooler with healthy food options instead of stopping at drive-thrus. I also got in as much exercise as possible.

Looking forward to this week. I have been having a hard time eating allot of fruits and veggies, so this will be good for me.

This challenge rocks! I have managed to work out at least 10 mins a DAY! wow! Even if it's just a Coach Nicole video or my Pilates in 10 mins! It's like ok I have to do at least 10 mins!

Challenging new areas, I find I often do more than I should. Food tracking is making this more obvious. Today, I have completed the core workout-I see some improvement emoticon but still have a long way to go. I am away from home on weekends so have finally convinced myself it might not be a bad idea to simply go with five days cardio. I have taken it out and will complete on Monday which happens to be the end of my week. I have eaten my fruits and vegetables for the day. emoticon

Hi All!

This week I have added an extra challenge to my work outs. Besides the 10 min video and my cardio, I have added the following sets of exercises: emoticon
1. Squats (2 sets of 12 with 5 lb weights)
2. Crunches (2 set of 12)
3. Modified Push-ups (2 set of 12)
4. Bicycle Crunches (2 set of 12)
5. Dumbbell Pullovers (2 set of 12 with 10 lb weights)
6. Reverse Crunches (2 set of 12)
7. Cool Down Stretching
I can def. feel it too! emoticon

AND on the 5 a day emoticon emoticon thing, my goal is to do that EVERY day, not just for this challenge! and BOY HAVE I felt better since I started! emoticon

When I was unable to exercise outside, I began using the wii fit. I also have the ea active, however, since I am just beginning to add exercises other than mostly aerobic, I have been learning through the bootcamp, and see many of the same things on the wii. I often use it as a break from the computer, or stress relief. Sometimes when I need a lighter exercise. I didn't realize there was an active team.
I would be interested in any information on these teams. emoticon

Started my week 3 yesterday. I do love this bootcamp! For the extra 10 mins cardio, I actually did quite a bit more than that. My "official" extra item is that I started another 30-day challenge on EA Sports Active and did the first 20 min workout yesterday.

I can't believe it's week 3 already!! Time is flying by!

Is there a follow-up Boot Camp on the horizon - more challenging, increase video training - I love this it is so incredibly motivating!!

I did 2 lower body workouts yesterday - walked with hubby for 45 minutes, eating fruits and veggies is no problem for me - it's staying in my caloric range consistently that is an issue for me -

For some reason today was one of the most difficult for me. My sleep has been poor, and the weather has really affected my allergies. I think the medication, and the different time of day affected many things. Nevertheless, I did complete the activity and get in the fruits and veggies. emoticon

I am waling 2 miles instead of 1 this week. It is really hot outside so I wait till evening to walk. I have increase my fruits for the day. I make sure I eat a fruit for breakfast and each snack.

emoticon for those 10 extra minutes. Today I was on my walk and I was trying to talk myself into walking 10 more minutes. All I can say is that I was in the right place at the right time.
If I hadn't been walking those 10 extra...who knows what would have happened. Needless to say a baby was toddling down the street alone.

I have already bumped up my cardio from just 30 minutes a day to 75. 30 in the morning and 45 in the afternoon. I also have added a 60 minute cardio on Saturdays.

I just went to the store to get fruits and vegis so will be no problem to get them in this week.

I've increased the drag on my elliptical. Since I enjoy both fruit and vegetables, I find no challenge in eating more. Still trying to get family members to choose fruit or vegetables as a snack.

For those of you in Week 3 of the Bootcamp, you are asked to amp up your cardio by adding another 10 minutes to some or all of your workouts this week, along with making sure you consume at least 5 servings of fruits and veggies each day. Use this thread and forum to discuss this strategy, any tips you may have for others and how you are doing.
