I feel like now that I have the basics under my belt, I want to start seeing some results, so here I am. My goals are twofold: 1. I want to actually shed 1-2 lbs per week, and 2. I want to maintain my new habits (tracking nutrition, working out 5 times/wk, etc).

I've been a really big slacker lately and its obvious by looking at me (I think).

I've had a gym membership for about 4 months and haven't gone once. Last week I got back into my gym routine. I'm trying to get back into better shape by doing at least 180 minutes of cardio per week and strength training a few days a week, too.

I'm using this challenge to get in the habit of strength training regularly. I love doing cardio but need to build more muscle. I would like to go down a pants size during this challenge.

Get back into shape for next horse show season. I've taken the past 3 years off due to military moves and having a baby. I miss it sooo much! Ready to be back in the jumpers ring! I'm sick of looking in the mirror and thinking what happened here? I want to look in the mirror and be pleased by what i see.

Trying to get fit again. I used to ride horses professionally then left the business and went to work behind a desk. I've lost a lot of muscle and would like it back...I'd also like to weigh a little less.

I'm using the bootcamp to get me into the habit of doing cardio. I love weight lifting, but cannot stand cardio. It's repetitive and boring, or at least the running and stairmastering and ellipticalling I've come to see as "cardio" are. Hopefully this bootcamp changes my thoughts surrounding cardiovascular exercise. By the end of the 28 days I plan to be a few pounds lighter and a few inches trimmer, while upping my strength.

Hi Everyone!

My goal for the 28 day challenge is to get in the habit of being active every day, no excuses! I tend to be very motivated for the 1st week or two and then start to slowly backslide, but having a short-term goal in mind will help me stay committed and motivated. I'd also like to lose 4-5 lbs. by the end - I have another (slightly) longer term goal to lose 10-11 lbs. by the date of my friend's wedding on Sept. 4th. My ultimate goal is, of course, overall health and quality of life, but also to lose a total of 40 lbs.

I am taking this challenge because I want to get my weight down. I was exercising regularly and then had to have surgery on my leg. Finally healed enough to start exercising agian and then hurt my knee. I am so frustrated but I think I can do most of the exercises required and then I will do water aerobics to put less stress on my knee.

My goal for week 1 is to stay accountable to myself and to keep at it. I often get a little spark for a week or so and then it dies for a few weeks and I gain up to 20 pounds sometimes.
I know that if I just keep at it I can succeed... I just have to beat my inner deamons down and remind myself that I am better than them.

emoticon I am here because I am trying to lose 35 lbs that I gained on my last pregnancy. My daughter is now 13 months old and I still have not lost the weight. I started to lose weight in Jan of this year, because I didn't feel sexy or good about myself. I hate the way I look in clothes. I am hoping that with the help of this site I can lose the rest of the weight. I bike and run on the treadmill.

i joined this challenge because I that exercise be part of my every day activities,also because I want to be a good example for my two kids,I took my son of 9yrs old to the Doctor and the Doc said that he is overweight kid, now WE star exercising he lost 9 lbs. he is happy and I'm happy to I feel so proud Him.

Hello,
I joined because my weight loss buddy (nduncanpoag7) invited me to join this spark team.
By the end of this month I hope to lose 4-8 lbs.
I have a approximately 40 lbs to go before I reach my target weight but breaking it down into smaller goals makes it look less daunting.

I'm hoping that changing up my exercise will help. emoticon

School's out and I need to do something daily to reestablish a daily workout. I can do 10 min. I can walk or do Curves 30 min. Get back to drinking water. I've also decided to do a 30 day 1 plate a meal goal. No extras. Snacks are yogurt, nuts, fruit or vegetable.
