Just completed Week 1 Day 1 video - and must say I don't think it was a beginner video. I am 62 short of being 63 and need to lose about 150 pounds - and found the video very challenging. But I kept moving the complete 10 minutes so that was an accomplishment in itself.

My suggestion would be to relook at the video(s) and see if there is a way to make a set of them for those that are obese and have not exercised in many many years if ever - would be nice to complete a 1st video at my weight but when it is way past my level of completion - difficult. I would think a lot of people like myself would find any floor exercise difficult to do - I find that I can't do anything on my knees and once down can't get up -

But on the plus side I feel good about giving it a try and will continue for the duration of the challenge - at least it gets me up and moving which is better than nothing.

Now I need to go put on the WII and do my Step Program.

In high school I never weighed more than 115. About 10 years later, I weigh 160lbs. I started the Spark diet on Monday and I have lost 5lbs and am now 155. I am looking to weigh 130lbs (but of course would love to be 120) I am also having my 10 year hs reunion and would love to weigh what I did in hs! My goal is to lose 25 lbs by May 2011!!

I have 4 months until my 70th birthday. This is to me absolutely astounding. I want to be able to fit into my coffin but I want to put that day off as long as possible, so I would like to see if I can lose around 8 lbs a month before 4-1-2011. This seems like a good way to start.

Get 'er done.

My goal is to lose just a few lbs but mainly to get TONED! Lose the jiggle so I can do this emoticon

I'm going to do at least 25 min of cardio 4x per week and weight training 3x per week.

This isn't new for me, I just fell of the wagon this fall/winter so we're jump starting again!

My goal for the 28 day challenge is to start a workout regimen and watch what I eat. I have been out of work for 2 1/2 years, and have really let myself go. I had lost down to where I was almost under 200 pounds, but now I have gained it all back, plus some. It is really depressing. I can't even use my own treadmill at home because I am over the weight limit for it.

I am joining this challenge as a way to keep me on track in 2011. I am feeling really excited about all that I will accomplish in the coming year! I believe that completing this challenge will help me to achieve my weight loss and fitness goals. I think it will also help to create fitness momentum for me. If I can stay on track with this challenge I will be creating new daily exercise habits. I know from past experience that when I have goals and challenges to work towards, I tend to be more successful.

My goal is to get back to working out and adding consistency. I have a hard time getting started, once I'm in it I'm good, but each day is a new challenge just to get motivated to get the workout done. This is the way it is with everything in my life.

I also have a hard time finishing things I start. So my major motivation is getting that virtual trophy at the end of the four weeks.

I lost a lot of weight some time ago and have kept it off, but why did I stop there? I want to lose about 20 more pounds and gain in strength.

I have been trying to lose 25 pounds for the last few years but have been totally unsuccessful. Sadly, rather than lose I gain an additional 10 pounds in 2010. I really want this year to be the year I lose the excess weight, get in shape and healthy. Today is the 1st day of the year and I will start if off by eating healthy and exercising. I commit to working out six days a week for at least 30 minutes.

I joined because I need to get back on track. I have done the boot camp for the last couple of years and it gets me pumped and ready to go, I'm hoping that this year it will last.

My first weight-loss step is a 10-lb loss towards an ultimate goal of 75 pounds. I need to spend more time exercising! I'm hoping this 28-day program will be a good kick-start for the year.

I'm joining challenge because I need to change things up a bit (getting bored). I want exercise with more purpose and this challenge seems to fit the bill. Change is a good thing...

I also want to continue to maintain my weight loss of over 120 lbs. and taking on challenges is one of the ways that has kept that weight off for almost 5 years now (yeah...I'm braggin'...I shouldn't...but...well...you know...)

This past year was a challenging year and I gained a lot of weight. I quit my job, moved to another city, got married, and graduated with my master's degree. I have had my focus on other things and my health has suffered. I have been sick a lot and had recurring back pain. I think the added weight has caused this and I am determined to lose it!

I gained about 7 lbs. during the holidays. I plan to be back to goal weight by Valentine's Day. I will do yoga classes three times a week and 3 sun salutations every day. I will participate in the 28 day challenge to reignite my regular exercise patterns.

Lost 65 lbs and maintained since 2006.

I am here because I'm tired of the yo-yo. I was doing really, really well. A year ago, I was going to the gym every morning, doing my exercises and was healthier and happier.

Throughout 2010, I stopped going to the gym, slipped back into depression and began eating my way through everything.

I have a lot of weight I would like to lose, but, am taking baby steps and my first 2 goals are to get back to the gym each day and to track everything I eat and how I was feeling when I was eating.

In September, I went back to school, and will graduate my major in August.

What better way to start my new career than with a healthier, happier, sexier me?!

I'm here because this seems like the perfect way to kick-start 2011! It sounds simple enough, yet exactly what I need to get moving. My goals for this challenge are:
1) Get in at least 30 minutes of exercise each day
2) Lose 5 lbs (putting me at 197 lbs)

That's it! I'm just hoping to get in good exercise and lose some weight. Looking forward to this challenge!

I am hoping to get back on track...2 years ago I joined SP and went from 211 pounds to 168 in 6 months...Over the past year I have gained almost all that weight back and was 207 this morning! I feel horrible and can't fit into my clothes since I threw my "fat" clothes out after losing my weight.

Hello all,
my goal is to be healthier and exercise each day. I saw this and decided to try it. I am currently 164 and 5'1". I hope I can do this.
I am planning to walk each day and then do the exercise video from this boot camp.

I did really well using SparkPeople last year, but didn't quite reach my goals, so I'm back at it again, and hoping to do even better. I've found that regular exercise helps me reach other goals, too, like being more focused at work and less depressed.

Hi, I'm Jen. I participated in this challenge last year, and it was the "spark" that got me working out regularly for the first time EVER :) :) :) I ended up losing 20 lbs overall for the year.

My goals for this challenge are to complete all the workout requirements and to plan meals at home at least 5 days a week. Overcoming restaurant overeating has been the biggest challenge to me in my weight loss success.

I hope to prove to myself that I can stick to a routine. I have a hard time sticking to something because I get bored or un-motivated. But, I'm hoping that I can login every morning and really do everything on the "list."

I'm obese, I want to lose weight for health more than anything, but dropping a few pant sizes would really be helpful when shopping as well.

I just want to do this challenge to the fullest. I've never actually completed an entire program anywhere, but 28-days sounds like something do-able, I hope. :)

Hang in there. It helps to think about it one day at a time. Each day, even each exercise or fitness event and each meal can be it's own little success.
I'm 47 and hoping to lose that last 10 or 12 pounds and get back into shape.

I want to feel better. I had a two week mini-debacle involving no exercise and whatever food I could get my hands on. This is a great way to begin the New Year, though I'm not one for resolutions.

Also, a friend of mine is getting married in June, and she asked me to be a bridesmaid. No one has ever asked me to be a bridesmaid, and I'm wicked excited so I want to make sure I look fantastic in my green, summer bridesmaid dress!

My goal for this challenge is to incorporate exercise back into my life. I have put off taking a class at an exercise facility because I know that I am too out of shape to enjoy it.

My busy season at work will start Monday. I want to use this challenge as a tool to get started and not just procrastinate and ultimately do nothing.

My goals are to stay motivated and get fit. I am 41 years old and feel 51. I see women my age that look great and I think to myself, I can do that, why have I let my self go!? I am on a mission to wow my husband by our 16th anniversary in August! Can't wait! emoticon

My goal for this challenge is to get to a point that I can do the things that I want and need to do without having to talk myself into getting up and doing them! In other words:

~ENERGY
~FOCUS
~LESS PAIN
~MOTIVATION
~ENERGY!

THANKS to everybody participating and the coaches!!

I'm participating in this challenge to re-start a healthy lifestyle and making fitness a part of my daily life. This challenge will be a great motivator and source of accountability for me! I'm starting from the beginning again since I have gained back all the weight I had previously lost, which is pretty embarrassing. Now, I see that my grandfather's health is in such poor decline due to years of poor eating habits and lack of physical exercise, that I really feel that it is urgent to get myself under better control!

I HAVE BEEN TALKING OF GETTING INTO SHAPE AND LOOSING SOME WEIGHT FOR MOST OF MY LIFE. BUT TALKING DOES NOT MAKE ONE HEALTHY. BOOTCAMP WILL HAVE THE ROUTINES ALREADY SET UP AND MIXED UP SO I HAVE NO EXCUSES FOR BEING BORED OR OUT OF IDEAS. IT TAKES 28 DAYS TO MAKE SOMETHING ROUTINE-HABIT, AND I NEED A GOOD HABIT OR TWO

I have given it all, what is left of me?
