1/1/11. A perfect day for a new start. I'm joining this challenge because I've just spent the last 10 days doing exercises everyday to fix my knee problems. Unfortunately, I've had to cut down on walking and running, so I've gained weight. Here I am - I'm aiming for commitment, perseverence, to regain the use of my knee, and to lose a little weight. Woohoo!

I have so many goals. I won't bore you with them all. Really..I keep a list of goals and dates. Anyway, my goal for this 28day challenge is to lose at least 20lbs. While, I would be nice to win a prize, I am already rewarding myself. If I can lose 20 lbs in the 28 day challenge, then I get to buy myself a NICE new phone. My current phone is barely hanging in there and only works about 60% of the time! So I figure I better accomplish my goal or I get another piece of crap phone rather than the $200 phone that I have been lusting over for some time now. Good luck to everyone and Happy New Year!!

I joined the challenge to help get me in shape. And i need support. I have noone but my kids for support and im determined to do this!!! My whole families overweight and im not gonna be one of them. i love them but im big enough for my opinion already its enough. Im tired of being tired.

I have been in maintenance for over two years now and recently with a family wedding and several other exciting events I have found myself slipping. This bootcamp will help to re-motivate and reinvigorate me. My goals are to do cardio six times a week for thirty minutes, use the nutrition tracker every day and be honest about it. I also will get back to strength exercises. My other goal is to declutter the house and redecorate.

my obvious goal is to lose this weight, however, more important for me at the moment is maintaining my effort.

so my foremost goal is to maintain my momentum, to not let the New Year turn older as I slow my efforts but to move more and freer the older the year gets.

My goals this year are to get more organized and to eat a healthier diet for me and my kids and to lose all this extra weight. I want to drink more water and start excercising more around the kids so i d ont set them up for failure. To increase my water intake, to excercise, to eat healthier.

my goals for the new year are to get back into the swing of things i have had an injury and have gained weight i wish to get back to running and working out 6 days a week it is my eating that is the biggest problem. i am 284 pounds and i wish for this year to lose a good 80 pounds that is my goal. for me at 6 feet tall i feel that is a comfortable place to be

My goal for 2011 and the next 28 days is to get moving..I want to begin exercising and stick with it to get this unhealthy fat tissue off of my frame. My best friend is getting married in June 2011 so my first big goal is to get the dress zipped up! (lol)

It's 3 hours into 2011 and I got this email and I figure why not. I just finished a pilates class which went well, but i have no exercise class planned for 2011 yet, though I want to start being fit, so I think I will do this 28-day boot camp.

My goal is to just be excited about exercise, you know, learn to like being active, try feeling good about it. Then maybe one day I will be actually fit.

So it's 2011 and the first thing that emails me is Sparkpeople's 28 day boot camp weight loss challenge. I wanna do it so I wont have to be big anymore and feel confident and better of myself, but I really want that 300 dollar Amazon prize (doesn't hurt to be honest)! I dunno yet. *sigh* I guess. I just have this feeling that I will stop at day 3, hence why I have posted this all over my facebook and tumblr so I can be reminded. emoticon


I guess my goal is to just lose weight, take it a day at a time. If I can look good by my birthday then I am happy! I just wanna go back to a 14/16 and be able to look good in a dress. Get from 300 pounds to at least 250 as my minor goal, 150 is my goal.

I am really excited about week one, because most of the challenges I'm already doing! So here are my goals for this week (starting Monday)
Weekly goals for the first week of the year:
Cardio- 10 minutes per day M-F
Strength training- upper body work out 3 times per week **** I guess I'll have to modify this since the challenge for week one is to do a toning video every day. I hope I have time for this, but I'm worried.
Water- 5 cups per day
Food- tracking everything M-F
Life- mail fingerprinting info for LCSW
Weight- lose a pound. or two. whatever. Lose 7 by Feb.
So...action plan 1 is done, 2-4 will be done throughout the week! Bring it!!

I have been off track for some time now. I would like to start working out on a regular basis, tracking my meals, drinking more water. It would be great if I could average a loss of 10 pounds per month. Well, that's a good starting goal.

My goals for this challenge are to eat clean at least 5/7 days. I will also re-incorporate a 30 minute walk back into my daily routine. I will do at least 3 CrossFit workouts/week, too.

My goals are:
- Work out at least 5 days a week (hopefully more like 7)
- drink at least 6-8 glasses of water each day
- Tone my body and hopefully make the flab from what I've already lost go away.

I did the 10 a day challenge and was able to do 10 minutes every day for 28, but then slacked off to 5-6 days a week and am just now trying to follow the fitness tracker. Even with my kids pushing me, I'm finding it difficult to get really motivated. Hence, this challenge!! This is a great way to start the new year!!!
