After coming back to SparkPeople, I lost over 25 pounds on the "diet" alone. I've had a hard time getting back into exercise because of my neck and shoulder injuries. I've been doing PT for a few weeks now and just completed the Stress Busting Challenge. I'm very excited to really be motivated to start exercising daily and toning my body. I want to start slowly with the 10 minute toning everyday and 10 minutes of cardio 5 days a week plus yoga & stretching. I hope to work up to 30 minutes 5 days a week.

I need to get back on track. The holidays really set me back so I am going to use the bootcamp to get me back on track and hopefully lose the pounds I gained over the holidays plus some!!! My goal is to lose at least 15 pounds by the end! I lost 15 pounds my first month on SP so using bootcamp I should be able to do it again and get back on track!!

Goals for challenge: look better naked. Loose the excess baggage so I don't have to a: listen to my Dr. nag at me, b: don't have to take the meds that he insists I take, c: to not look like an old frump, because I don't feel like one.

You've got to fight the elements, take good care of yourself, and dig down deep for courage in order for your seeds to be cultivated into success.

I'm joining because I have at least 10 more pounds to loose to get to my goal weight and run a 4 mile race by the anniversary I quit smoking almost 3 years ago on Valentines Day. I want to look and more importantly feel great about myself this year!!!! It is a year for balance and new beginnings!

I'm excited to be here! I'm aiming to drop 5-10 lbs and lose some inches by the end of the month! I will be going to vegas on friday so will not be able to login every day but plan on using the gym @ my hotel while I'm away!

Build more consistent action:

1. Go from 3 days of exercise a week to 5 days for 30 minutes at least. I tend to want to over achieve but then not achieve at all.
2. Be consistent with logging in my food intake and keeping myself within the suggested calorie limits.
3. Build into my health habits some kind of relaxation and stress reduction measure. I gain weight when I am stressed out and it tends to go to my middle. I am currently between jobs, and have been coping with some high levels of anxiety related to job searches and interviews. So, over the next 28 days I am going to be exploring various avenues for relieving this: yoga, meditation, journaling, etc. When I find something I like, I will commit to a more specific goal.

I was recently diagnosed with some health issues so I am having to learn alot about what I can and can't eat but I know that for me to lose this weight that the doctors tell me is killing me I need to get more active too.

My goal is to finish my journey. To become healthy and more balanced in my life. . I want to be in good physical shape, organized, emotionally fulfilled and spiritually anchored. To fulfill my goals there are things I must do for myself. I cannot rely on my husband or children, no matter how wonderful they are, to take care of those things for me. More importantly, I must remember to do what I need to do to become a better person for me in order to be a better person for them. I can not stop from doing what must be done if it inconveniences people I love and does not fit in with their plans. I must do what is important for me. I have to remember that in order to take care of the ones I love - I must take care of and love me first.

I joined the challenge to get me back in the habit of exercising regularly. Now that it's cold, I haven't wanted to run outside as much and I have been neglecting strength training as well. I am training to run an 8K in March, so this challenge will help me to prepare. My goals are cardio 5X a week and Challenge videos 7X a week.

I lost 20 pounds last year but without regular exercise. Can you say "Plateau"? I DO NOT have the legs for flats so I had to find a way. I want to be more aware of all aspects of what affects my body and I have never seen a more accessible, user-friendly program than Sparkpeople. Soooo - the timing on the boot camp was perfect. I'm ready to break the plateau!
