My goal is to get back that energy and positive outlook I had when I was living healthier. I lost 65 pounds and then gained 30 back and the clarity I had when I lost the weight is gone. I hate the feeling of being tired all the time and it makes life so much harder when you don't feel like doing anything.

I'm hoping to get back on track with my health and wellness journey. I lost about 75 pounds since last October, but slowly started creeping up again and have only managed to keep off about 30. :( Recently I had lost 10 pounds, but over the holidays gained back 3 so I want to kick it in gear with this Bootcamp! :)

I have joined this bootcamp to help me thru my first plateau. I started in September at 346 lbs and am now at 270. I am told I need to change up my routine to continue losing. My long term goal is to be at 175 by August. My short term gaol is 10 lbs by the end of January.

I decided to join the boot camp challenge as a means to encourage me to continue my consistent exercise journey. I have consistently been working out for a week and half now and I want to encourage myself to keep going on. Another reason is that I love a challenge. Tell me I can't do something and I will do everything within my means to accomplish that task

My attention span for any one exercise program is about 28 days...so this is right up my alley. I'm working out again and loving it, and this should set me off in a good direction for 2011.

I am challenging myself to COMPLETE the whole 28 days. Like many of us, I get bogged down with other responsibilities and forget about the big picture - myself! This is my year to shine. Last year I lost 23#s and managed to keep most of it off. This challenge should jumpstart the year. The fact that I'm heading out on a short cruise the first of February, should help with any motivational problems I see. Drinking my water has always been a boost to weight loss, and just doing something has been soooo beneficial. Let's get with it. I'd like to add Jillian's shred with weight dvd. It's killer, but doable.

Best of luck to us all,
Kathy and Gucci!

Hi Everyone! I've joined this challenge because I think it would be a great motivator to keep me on track. At the beginning of last year, I joined a different competition where I had great success and jumpstarted me for the rest of the year. I've lost 30 lbs so far, and have 30 more to go. My goals for the next 4 weeks are:

Diet:
~Complete 7 day detox program
~Eat CLEAN!
~Try a new exciting healthy recipe each week, and blog about it
~Track meals daily on Calorific app
~Drink 4 tall glasses of water/day

Exercise:

My goal is to get back to my lowest weight in over 30 years. I had Gastric Bypass surgery 5.5 years ago and lost 113# but have put back on 30. It's time to take that off for good! From what I see from SparkPeople so far, I think this is my solution. Let's GO!!!!!!!!

Congrats Aslterpkels! You have already lost a lot!! Great job!

My long term goals is to be around 190 or less by my birthday in July.

My short term goal is to jump start my exercise program by doing the 28-day Bootcamp Workout Challenge.

All in all, I want to be the best I can be as a Christian, mother, wife, and friend. I think, by acheiving my goals, I will be able to do so with confidence and to the best of my ability.

My goal for this challenge is to jump-start my year. I'd like to lose 8-10 lbs and gain a little more motivation. We just moved to a new state so, having a community with the bootcamp and the support from everyone is definitely a plus for me.

I have pretty big goals for the year so that I'll look great for my wedding in December. My fiance and I want to start trying for a baby about then too so, of course, I want to be in the best shape possible for pregnancy.

Good luck everyone!

I couldn't figure out how to reply to the general thread so I hope this goes to the right place. My goal is to follow the boot camp. In the past I flicker out quickly. This time my daughter will help remind me to exercise. I need to focus and really make this count instead of getting involved in mommy stuff.

My goal is just to 'move it move it'! I will be traveling starting January 8th until the 28th. Living in a hotel and eating out every meal is awful, so I hope this will keep me focused. I also just received a TRX system for Christmas and will be using that for my strength and interval training.

My long term goal is to hit my target weight of 180lbs this year. My medium term goal is to be at 200lbs by the end of June for my cousins wedding. For this challenge, I would like to lose 8-10lbs to get a jump start on my year! Along with the 10 minute videos I will be running and doing turbo jam and some Jillian michaels workouts. I am so ready for this!!

My long-term goal is to lose 30 lbs this year. In the short term, my goal is to integrate strength-training into my daily routine and I think that this challenge will help! I'm also planning to participate in at least six races this year, including 2 5Ks, a stair climb, a half-marathon and a Warrior Dash. I would also like to lose 10 lbs by February 14th.
