OK - this is my first week of giving this a try.

Lord knows, I have to have some kind of a plan. I've been doing a lot of overeating and not enough movement. Some days I do much of nothing at all. I have been in the house mostly since 3/13.....

Today (3/30) I am setting some goals.
1. some sort of movement every day
2. gain some sort of control over my eating (ideally lc/keto)
3. track my food and activity everyday

I joined this challenge to back into a regular fitness routine. I broke my hand and 8 weeks later I am still recovering. I feel well enough to reintroduce exercise with some modifications to how I use my hand and wrist. The bone is healed, but I think I have some torn muscles that are getting better everyday but limit what activity I can do.

I decided after I completed the first 28 days, I wanted to do this again. It was helpful in organizing my day and I want to make it through the videos again. At the end, I could finally hold a plank on my toes for a few seconds. I love that I was getting stronger through the process and want to continue this program. I joined today (Saturday) but will officially start my week tomorrow. Today I will explore the Team pages etc.. My Complete Challenge Goal is to be able to do the entire 10 minute Cardio workout without any deviations or modifications. I had to do modified jumping jacks and had to march instead of mountain climbers and the other thing. etc.

My Week One Goal is to stay on track and follow the program. going to buy dumbbells today for tomorrow

My hope is that the 28-Day Bootcamp Workout Challenge is going to establish and instill routine fitness workouts to my day. Retired last year so there is really no excuse for boredom! My health and fitness SHOULD be my full-time job. I have many personal areas to work on, among which are fitness, diet, overall health plus healthy mental attitude. My goal for this bootcamp event is to lose 4-6 pounds and BEGIN to reshape and tone! (Now that's a mouthful...lol). Now size 16, weight 198. At the end of my total journey I would like to be at 135-140 # and a size 10 or better. I desire to be a success story just once in my life when it comes to weight and fitness. Plus, to stay that way for life once I accomplish my final goals. I read all the posts and I can relate to each person's in one way or another from personal experience. I am so thankful for SPARK to give this opportunity of fitness and encouragement. I wish everyone success on their individual mission! Leaving for Walmart to pick up dumbbells ; - )) God Bless.

I make progress with my fitness and then stall in my motivation. My goal is to be committed to daily, intentional exercise at the end of this 28 day boot camp.

My goals are to do at least 30 minutes of walking at day, plus whatever additional videos are included in the various bootcamps that I will be signing up for. I'm also committed to tracking. What that means for today is that TWICE I turned down pre-period chocolate! Woo!

I did this challenge years ago and it really helped me to get going on a workout plan. Sadly I fell off the wagon about 1.5 years later and am probably a little bigger now then I was the first time around. I have a vacation coming up at the end of September that is pretty big motivation... and it's with a mutual friend of my ex soooo might also be a sort of a revenge body thing going on mentally there lol. I've tried to get back into eating healthy and working out off and on but never stick to it so I thought I'd go back to where it all started. Good luck everyone

I am restarting my journey again at weight loss. I currently go to a bootcamp class 3 times a week, but need something to get me going and motivated on days when I don't go to class and to give me an extra boost. Hoping to make August a super productive month at getting my eating habits under control and increasing my activity.
