I am going to get my exercise first thing when I get up so I don't have any excuses. I will read my bible and then exercise. Yesterday I did 15 minutes on the treadmill and today I did 10 minutes on the treadmill plus 30 minutes of Oxycise.

I always want my heart to be for Christ.

My goal is to reach a healthy/fitness body fat percentage. I am not concerned as to what my actual body weight is on the scale. I want to look and feel healthy. I am going to do at least 10 minutes of exercise EVERY day and at least 60 minutes of cardio 5x/wk and 20 min of strength training 3x/wk.

I'm going to do at least 20 minutes of fast walking each day. Walking the long route home from work should do this. The weekend may prove problematic as I'll need to make the effort to go for a walk.

My goal is to work out at Curves at least three days a week, intending five days and to walk on the weekends. Outside, if it is nice or on my treadmill if the weather is nasty.
Well, today Mother Nature decided she was going to throw a kink in the works.
We got three inches of snow overnight. I got my 30 minutes in. I shoveled a downward sloping driveway then walked back up it to salt it, and then again to go and retrieve my car. I want the 60 degree days back!

My goals for this challenge are to: complete 10 minute workouts every (nearly every) day of the challenge period, drink at least 64 oz of water every day, plan and pack my lunch for workdays (instead of eating at restaurants). I'm striving for consistency and not perfection.

My goal is to continue losing my baby weight. I would like to get back to 160 atleast. obviously not over the course of 4 weeks bc losign that must weight that fast is very unhealthy. I need to get back into my routine and get healthy again, as I am majoring in a BA in Health & Wellness.

I want to make sure that I form the habit of exercising every day. I workout, but I'll have a bad day and not, and then that lasts for a few days before I workout again. But I really want to form the habit this time.

My goal is to remain active every single day of the week, rather than banking on hard work done the day prior and using that as my excuse to slack ...I tend to tell myself I "deserve" a break from exercise or from being mindful of what I eat. Overall, I just want to maintain a great level of overall fitness -proper nutrition and adequate energy/activity [balanced out with "smart treats" when the time is right ;)]. Oh and I want to shift toward all of this being second nature and a way of life, rather than an ongoing obsession.

As for me, I don't have "specific" fitness goals. I'm just trying to workout at LEAST 3 times per week. So far, I've been doing great. It's only been 5 weeks, but I have lost just over 5 pounds, which isn't a lot, but I'm happy with it. I work, and go to school full time, so I don't have tons of time to workout, but I do what I can!!

Good luck everyone with all of your goals!!

If at first you don't succeed, dust yourself off and try again!

I used to exercise any chance I got; before work, on my lunch break, after work... And I felt great about myself! Then somehow I just started losing my drive and getting lazy. I miss how I used to feel (hell, and how I used to look!) and need to give myself a kick in the butt so that I can get back into the swing of things again! So my goal is to re-motivate myself.

I have set goals that are not realistic for me anymore. I used to be able to lose weight much quicker. Not so much anymore! So My goals for this month of February are to exercise every day in some form or fashion for 30 minutes. I want to drink 8 glasses of water a day. I also would like to eat healthy. I have started doing that. Tracking my meals really helps me focus on exactly what I am putting in my mouth, so my last goal will be to track my meals daily.

When I introduced myself in the team I mentioned that I have set a goal for myself to log 10,000 fitness minutes in the year 2012. The days that I exercise I usually log between 30-60 minutes. My difficulty is exercising every day, which I want to do, but schedules can interfere. If I challenge myself to get in at least 10 mins. every day, it will boost my overall goal, along with the team's goals.

I could not have been prouder at myself tonight as I watched swat and tears falling down during my workout... I've beaten obesity, diabetes, depression, cancer and I have seen that there really are no limits to what I can do...

I work in an office at a desk all day. I don't take even a few minutes for myself each day. I am joining this challenge with a goal of starting the habit of a few minutes to take care of myself each day; 10 minutes is a great start with the hope of increasing to at least an hour a day of "me" time.

My goal is to complete this challenge. I am so very tired of always falling off the wagon. I start challenges and then something comes up and I fail. I start them again and again I fail. I look at my health and weight and think something has to break or I am going to go to an early grave. This cannot happen. I have to find the strength to do this challenge. I have to tell everyone else and anything else that comes up that I have plans. I must come first.

so my goal is to complete this challenge. I am going to announce it to my family and start the challenge on Sunday. I will take the rest of today and tomorrow and make sure that everyone knows the commitment I am making and I will move all appointments in the next weeks around to meet this goal, and post all over the house my intentions.

I have chosen two teams for this - perhaps too much? I dont think so as they compliment each other. Will I need support - a resounding YES. And all I can say is here I go.

I'm using this as motivation to get off my butt everyday! I'd like to do 5 days a week for now and build up to 7. I want to get into the habit of walking (instead of taking the bus) from my car to the office and going for walks on the weekends.
