I have not thought of rewards yet. I'll have to think about it. Money and Food cannot be involved or only minimally. My rewards will be fitting back into some of my favorite jeans all along the way. I have size 8 up to size 18. That will bring me so much joy. emoticon

Hi everyone:

I am in a 10 week fitness program at my gym and I am hoping to have droped a total of 6-10 pounds before the end. If I meet that goal, then I am planning to treat myself to a facial.

On January 30th, I hope and pray to be able to finish my first full marathon and raise $2400 for Muscular Distorphy Association that helps people with neuromuscular disorders like me (I have CMT). WHEN I finish that marathon, I will treat myself to a serious spa day.

For me, it is all about the pampering until I can get to my goal weight loss of 12-15 pounds. At that point, I will reward myself by dumping the "fat clothes" at a charity and going on a major shopping spree!

No more rewarding myself with food. I eat to live not live to eat.

So far I'm still plateauing and can't seem to move from the 199-205 range so I haven't rewarded myself just yet, but once things get rolling every 10 pounds is going to be a reward with my ultimate reward being a lolita dress. I love lolita fashion and intend on making some of my own, but once I'm down to 135lbs I will buy one specially made that I've already had designed. So that's my major reward for myself.

Wow! I haven't really thought about rewards along the way. I'm going to have to start thinking about them and see what I can come up with. I just know that when I reach my goal, all of the fat clothes are going to be gone and a new fresh wardrobe will be bought.

Those are some fun rewards!

I wrote up a rewards system last night for every five pounds lost... Maybe I'm just greedier than those who go for every ten. (lol) Here's mine:

215 Buy a new CD
210 Buy a new DVD
205 Buy a new model for a table-top war game I play
200 Treat self to nice dinner bring a friend! (Not cooking is the real reward)
195 Some jewelry AND a cute new top! (Thanks to MIRACLEINSIXTY for the suggestion and pointing out this is my half-way mark! I originally couldn't think of anything)
190 Get a hair cut/trim (a rare occurrence since I started growing it out two years ago!)
185 Go out dancing with friends
180 Buy new jeans go to next town over to get them. Shopping trip!
175 Buy a new swimsuit bikini here I come!
170 New tattoo so I remember everything that I went through to get to this point. AND I want to do a belly dancing photo shoot with a local photographer I know (and who's work I love). Might as well make it a big-bang finish!

I'd love to see what other people come up with as well.

When I stay on plan all week, I buy a new song.
When I hit the next decade (I'm only 2 lbs away!), I'm buying new VS underwear! LOL!

I haven't decided on future rewards yet, but Costa Rica is sounding like a terrific place to celebrate!

For every ten lbs I lose I treat myself. A new scarf, new shoes, a book, something that I would not normally buy for myself. Something that I could go without., but like.
When I hit 200, its a full day at the spa.
When I hit my goal it a complete new wardrobe.
Also a complete makeover.
I still haven't treated myself for the last ten lbs lost. I guess I had better decide what that will be.
