I know it's Friday, but I've been working on Wednesday's challenge for the last few days (and longer than that actually!) I think it's a wonderful challenge to shoot for lots of different types of fruits and vegetables each day. I love seeing which items pack the biggest nutritional punch and it challenges me to try new things and recipes which keeps living a healthy lifestyle fun and interesting.

Cleaning a condo today & instead of using the dumpster that was right there...I walked the length of the complex 6 times (yeah, these folks left a ton of rubbish) Bonus was that it was a 3rd floor condo - plenty of stair climbing!

Tuesday's challenge met!

B - banana, cantaloupe, yogurt, scrambled egg substitute w/portabella's & onion.....281 cal

L - tangerine, fuji apple, open faced roast beef sammie with provolone & mayo...441 cal

D - grapes (snack while chopping), steamed broccoli, giant salad with baked chicken....360 cal

S1 - 5.5 oz low so V-8 juice....30 cal
S2 - 100 calorie PC crunch bar...100 cal
LBW - 3.5 oz red wine...74 cal

Total - 1286 and should probably get another 100 calories (maybe an evening snack!!)

Happy Monday to you! Thought we could use a daily challenge to keep things moving and perhaps a little more interesting!

I'll post this for Tuesday's challenge, so we can all have time to plan ahead!

Your challenge today is to EAT 3 HEALTHY MEALS & 2 HEALTHY SNACKS. This challenge takes some planning as you don't want to go over your calories.

The best part about spacing your calories throughout your day is that your blood sugar level doesn't plummet. Personally, I find myself low on energy in the late afternoon. A great way to fight that afternoon slump is by having a healthy snack.

KEEP THE ENERGY GOING!!!!
