I am so sad today I weighed in I did really well with my food and I am up less than a lb.
Hoping that it's water retention.

I would like to get this challenge going again . The way I see it is that if we keep ourselves accountable we can help everyone stay on track so I weigh in on Thursdays so I am posting for last Thursday. sorry i have not been on for a while. things have been very hectic out here for me and my family. the stress is being hard on my diet but i have been getting back on track as quickly as i possibly can. when i started this journey in may 2011 i weighed in at 399.6 lbs, in June of the same year i had gastric bypass surgery and i weighed that day 386.9 lbs, today i am at 252.9 lbs. that makes my loss to date a whopping 148lbs +/- 5 lbs . i will be weighing in on the eighth of this month i will post the weight that weekend.

Maintained my weight from last week of 197 lbs. This is amazing since my family celebrated Easter last weekend & I ate poorly all weekend. The result was by Monday morning I was up 4 lbs. I refocused & got back to where I was. :-) Now for this week.....

Hi everyone,

I'm so happy for all of the losers this week. Unfortunately, I'm not one of you. I'm up 1 !/2 lbs this week...but I know why :( I won't make the same mistake again this week and I won't let the scale win!!!!! So upset right now but it gives me more determination to lose!! I still have that goal of 5 or more lbs by April 20 and I plan on making it!!

On Dec. 15 I weighed in at 255. Today on April 2 I weigh in at 205. I am very proud of myself. I was able to lose this weight despite having to have emergency surgery. I now feel my goal weight of 130 pounds can be reached. emoticon

229lbs My max was over Christmas at 240. So making progress. Just finished an 8 week exercise program and averaged 0.5 lbs per week. Not that impressive but has got me interested in running a 5K starting spark peoples 5K your way running program today! Will work on healthier eating and hope to lose another 10 lbs by June.

I hit my first plateau today at 95.7 KG and despite this I am not beating myself up. First I am surprised I have not hit a dry spell for losing the weight before now but quiet happy my motivation and ultimate goal is keeping me on track in what has become a very busy and intense working week. When I look at the basic figures I have been serious about my health and weight for 91 days now (since 01 Jan 12) and so far have lost 18.3 KGs, This has ensured 1. I am no longer a member of the dreaded "100 club", 2. am no longer classified as obese (iaw the BMI scale), and 3. none of my pants want to stay on my hits anymore.

I still hope to be equal to or under 95 KGs by Easter so looks like an extra hard week at the gym for me.

lost 2 pounds. feeling great! did so much garden work outside... got a lot done and lost some of those calories! My short term goal is to go from "obese" to overweight... about 10 to go..

3-24-12 Week 1 and I am down 3.2 pounds. I am happy with that
3-30-12 Week 2 and I am down 3.0 pounds. Total of 6.2 and very happy.
4-06-12 Week 3 and I am up 1.2 pounds. Not thrilled, but expected. Was not my best.

this time around I am counting my foods in 100 cal increments. Been so much easier for me to keep track of my calories. Trying to work in a couple of walks a week but I am not much of an exerciser so I want to start slow in that area so I can keep it up. Starting weight may be 1-2 pounds high. I didn't want to write it down anywhere in case my hubby would see it!

Good morning from chilly Canberra. I cant believe it is Sunday again and I had to dig the scales out from under the cupboard (where they hide and fear all week around). This week has been as usual a very full on one with work yet my routines of fitness healthy eating and allocated me time has held up. the results......95.7KGs. The most pleasing aspect of the week apart from shaking off another unwanted KG was having my Doctor tell me my Blood Pressure, Pulse and iron is absolutely normal and a lot lower than he would expect for someone of my age. Now that is a compliment. Hope you are all having fun and success with your own challenges. See you next week. Paul

Since starting in January this is the first week I did not loose 2 pounds. Was a little disappointed. I did loose 1 pound but did so much extra exercising. I knew i would hit a platuea but was hoping to bypass it!!! emoticon

Beginning weight 1/8/2012- 204

3/15/2012- 188- and while that is not all that much weight, I reduced my total cholesterol by 30 points and my triglycerides by almost half. So I am thrilled none the less.

goal: 148 lbs

this is a rest and maintenance week. after determined daily exercise and healthy eating choices for about 2.5 months, i took 2 days off this past week from exercise and had a few days of "cheats"... nevertheless, the weight did not increase too much.

i'm beginning to worry if i can reach my goals of losing 50 lbs... will get back on the horse this week and stay determined.

Baseline Weigh-In - to make sure i have a consistent Weigh-In each week, i take my weight after 1 to 1.5 hours of exercise (sweat out excess water, minimum XXX cals burned) and very important, after a bowel movement (sorry for this info, but poop can be 1-3 lbs!!), and on Saturday mornings...

stay motivated!
