What you could do is, walk for 30-minutes a day the first week and then next week, bump it up to 45-minutes a day and so on...

Hi Linda, just want to let you know that I came across your post about 1 1/2 weeks ago and it motivated me to start walking. I've been walking now for 5 days now 30 minutes a day. I'm just starting off so I didn't want to discourage myself by not being able to walk an hour or two. Thanks again! emoticon
