Church flights of stairs went easier today than several weeks - one Tylenol on board before we went might help a lot!!!
Walked every aisle in the groc store - but came home almost too tired to put together a simple lunch - BUT I DID IT!!!
Nap this afternoon!

Thursday - 3900steps
Today - office day - computer entries doesn't do much for walking - 2500steps - need to push through and get back on the stationary bike and stairways too but just not interested -grrrr.

Time in the office is cutting down my steps per pedometer - will try to walk around the house OUTSIDE tomorrow to get in more and then keep up the stairs practice too - lot of leg pain from neuropathy last night so need to keep mobile.

3/15 5510 steps - did one set of balance exercises ---walk length of hall frontwards turning head full side to side with each step - then back up doing the same thing.
Then walk full length looking floor to ceiling each step and then back up doing the same. WOW - I have really lost a lot of ability since I did this with therapist - it's been about 7 months and I NEED to do this - until I can do it with confidence and walking fast. Then there is a set of tins I am supposed to do along the kitchen counter too will work on them next month.

3/16 2000 steps - one flight of stairs up and down - less pain than a few weeks ago but very slow still and thankful for strong railing!

linda i do whatever i feel like push ups cat stretch some yoga moves planks . i am going to check more about functional fitness, there was an article here about it. squats calf raises shoulder rolls . if it hurts stop. there is a lot of free stuff around the internet just make sure you check two or more sources to see if it is legit , . today 35 minutes stretches

Tell me about your stretches - how do you know what is good for you and what to do and how long to hold etc. I need to be doing some but not knowledgeable and know I cannot twist at all due to back reconstruct- still wishing on a PT consult again but $$$$.

Slow going - right knee just will not recover after the giving out on me Feb 24 - just can't trust it but hate to wrap it because that really makes it weaker. will just putz along It actually feels good on the elliptical and stationary bike - but not stairs or treadmill.

3200 steps yesterday and 3000today
