Thank you! You warmed my heart! That little one is worth it! WOrth every minute on the row machine and every walk with my dog! One day I will have so much to show for my weight loss...more than a new look....a new extension of me and that means so much! I think it weighs on me so much because my sister can not have kids and my husband is an only child so if I can not have children than neither of them would be able to be grand parents! I feel the responsibility weighing in on me but it is all in Gods hands and I trust that He knows what He is doing and in the mean time I will do what I am suppose to be doing as well!

Don't lose hope. I thought I could not have children before I had my first. I actively tried for 2 years on top of being in the relationship another 1 1/2 with no protection, with no luck at all. I was 310 lbs when I started though and once I had given up all hope and decided that I was just going to focus on my weight loss (by that time I had managed to yo-yo myself down to 220 lbs.) I finally got a positive pregnancy test and even though I ended up gaining a whopping 70 lbs with that pregnancy it was healthy, normal and uncomplicated.

My second I got pregnant at 250 lbs and luckily only gained 20 lbs. :-)

I remember before my first how hard it was. I use to joke with my family that I was "rotten" and would need one of my sisters to have a baby for me one day. I joked about it and would laugh but it really hurt because I knew I was ment to be a mom. Don't give up on it, having a baby is a great motivation to lose weight, and even though it takes a lot of time to get to a healthy weight, especially when you have a lot to lose, it's very possible and so with it.

I am nearly 27 years old. Being married over 3 years and the abscence of protection of any kind has me concerned that i can not have children! But I have heard so many wonderful stories about weight lose and how that aids in fertility! I have been attempting to focus on losing weight this new year instead of worrying over not being able to have children.,..but I didnt want to lose focus so here i am finally participating and reading Posts throughout this group! I have PCOS and I am morbidly obese! I have managed to get 42lbs off since I was wed 3 years ago but I still have 100 more to go! i will be thrilled to weigh in at 150! If I can get any help on recipies, weight loss tips or fitness routines I would much appreciate them! I am reaching out to you ladies because you are in the same boat with me and I need so much help! Keep up all your good work and keep posting because you inspire me to keep pressing towards my goals! thank you and I look forward to hearing from each and every one of you!
