Good for you! I got up at 5:50 yesterday; the upstairs neighbors woke me ... it sounded like World War III. I had to move my bed around so my head wasn't directly beneath the sounds of bounding up and down on the floor. If it kept up I was going to threaten my landlord.

Of course, it takes me a very long time to have breakfast. It is by far the largest meal of my day, so no workout ...

Tina ,, I try to yoga ,, but for the most part it is just boring to me ,, I try to get into it,. But every now and again I take out a video, and pop it in and try again,

W'Breezes, I do plenty, plenty of yoga, primarily at home, I have my own yoga practice sequence that needs no technology and lasts over an hour, as well.

It's just that I rediscovered I like to do good old fashioned exercise like we did back in the day. My body is built better for it (it's even built better for pilates than yoga), and I can do it to the beat to all this disco music I have ...

Now, I have to get a mat thick enough not to hurt my buns and legs as I carry out the ritual ... forgotten how my tailbone rubbing chafes between the "cheeks"

If it were just yoga, I would not have decided to join this team.

Yea Tiniertina ,, I have 4 yoga CD's and they sit there and stare at me ,, I keep telling myself one of these days I am going to try again, but My treadmill is so much easier you just go get on it , hit the program button you want and work out. LOL

There are some days I find I just literally have to force myself to get up and do anything, Today is one of those days but I am going to go down and walk on my treadmill I am going to try for 60 minutes , but we will see.

I wasn't to ambitous today but i still did fit in 2 workouts. its a good thing i don't go to the gym, because it was cold and crappy so i wasn't in the mood to go out, but when i did there was hail.

Thought the sinus problem was over, no headache last night at work or this morning before bed time, but woke up 5 hours later with stuffiness , coughing, and headache from sinus'es again.

Dont know if its my sinus's trying to clean themselves out after smoking for so long and recently quitting , or maybe smoking covered up allergies that are now free to reek habit or what.

I have recently stepped up my workouts quite a bit....more challenging/intense DVD's with both cardio and strength as well as incorporating a lot of new things/variety.

I have the biggest loser season 2 DVD. Has anyone else ever done this one? The low impact is positively kicking my butt!! You are supposed to alternate the low impact cardio and strength every other day for 3 weeks and then move on to alternating the high impact cardio and strength. I am in my second week of the low and I FEEL LIKE I AM GOING TO DIE 1/2 WAY THROUGH!!! Afterwards, I am often lightheaded and nauseous. Has anybody else experienced this when "upping the ante"?? If so what have you done to minimize those feelings? Am I pushing too hard? I looked at the high impact and I wonder if I will be ready for it in 2 weeks? Oh, also I am on phentermine as well as BP meds. Would either of these, when combined with working harder, be a contributing factor or am I just pushing myself too hard?

The tread mill is great, i just have to figure out how to program my workout on it, although i found that i am not ready to do its programmed workouts they are way to fast for me to follow.

Its nice to see old freinds and catch up isn't it.

Well my week has not been so good, for some reason this week I have been binging and craving a lot of food. and over eating, I don't know what going on but will work on that this coming week,

10 pounds is 3 weeks is going to be tough to do it in a healthy way,, they usually say , 2 lbs a week is max, Good Luck tho

I am going to the gym this morning - lifting weights and doing a Spinning Class.

Good news: my friend from SC is coming down in 3 weeks! Happy to see her, it's been a year!

Not so good news: my weight loss goal is for June, not May...I'm not to certain that I can lose 10 pounds in 3 weeks. You can read my blog. Any help is welcome!

I've been doing lower intensity excercies this week. i haven't been feeling well- sore throat, sleepy and crabby. i did not let that be an excuse to not work out at all. i just did more stretching and lower intensity cardio.

Just popping in to say Hi. I found a package of 2 FIRM DVDs at Target tonight for $14.99. I think that was a pretty good price. Probably not as good as I could do at a garage sale, but I've been wanting something new. I got "Total Body Time Crunch" and "Bootcamp Maximum Cardio Burn". So now I'm looking forward to giving them a try!

Good Morning! It is Ash Wednesday (beginning of Lent), so I am off to mass, then to work, and will be doing the elliptical and bike after work tonight. A full day. Will also be eating meat-free today. (PBJ for lunch, and salmon for dinner.)

Hi Everyone!

HAPPY emoticon Day! Hope each of you are having a great day.

I didn't get a workout in today, but I have been doing a lot of cleaning. I'm doubtful it burned a lot of calories, but that's okay. I just needed to get this stuff done.

I think it's a great idea to do a different DVD eahc day. I'm getting ready to try 30 day Shred. Can't wait til it gets here.

CMATHUR, good for you. I have been switching up my workouts too, and so far it seems to be working. I find myself NOT getting bored or burnt out on one type of exercise. That for me is a huge part of the battle. emoticon

I did 3 hrs of my WII sports workout today all total. I was very surprised because I hadn't planned on doing that many hrs but I loved every minute of it. Tomorrow I'll be back with my WII I'm having a blast !

I committed to doing the 30-Day Shred at the beginning of December. I was doing well until Christmas day - then I missed 3 days in a row. But today I picked it back up again and finally finished level 2. I'm planning to move on to level 3 tomorrow. I've lost a couple pounds of weight, but best of all, I can see my core tightening up a bit - that's definately a good thing!!

My house is spotless now. We aren't accepting visitors until after Wednesday. LOL We are waiting for someone to come by the house to inspect for the adoption we are waiting for. My hubby is adopting my daughter. Court date is 11/19/09 at 10am. Super excited about that.

Girl Scouts was draining. Not sure why we didn't do anything except write thank you notes to a few people that helped us in the Halloween Parade.

Hope everyone is getting their workouts in and is enjoying themselves.

Last night wasn't all that great. Only 21/2 hours sleep. It's going to be a long day. Some nights I just can't seem to shut off the mind and get some sleep. Oh well, things could be worst, this is just a minor detail. The good news is that hubby comes home tonight after being gone since Sunday. He works out of the province during the week. He's a weekend hubby. emoticon

I got in a workout last night. Not real intense though. I had to wait til the kids were in bed and then I took over the TV. I was happy when it was over didn't want to do it.
