I hardly ever look for the closest parking spot when shopping by driving up and down the rows. I grab the first one I see and take a good walk up to the door..

I really don't do anything except that I walk fast to my destination. I don't dawdle.

normally I do lots of little things to add steps, but this week every time I move I have a coughing fit, so staying as still as I can :)

I make many trips within my house, intentionally being inefficient. The more trips in and out, up and down the stairs, the better. I also walk as far in the parking lot as I can, providing it isn't pouring, and walk the entire store, not just the aisles I want. It's amazing how many steps you can add just doing everyday things.

Daily Question: Name little things that you do to help yourself become more active.

I have walked 5 minutes for every hour or pulled out my little upper/lower body cycle at work to get some motion on. It seems to help break up my day. I also park further away in the mornings when I get to work.

Take Care and God bless,
