OMG KLMGSU07...I love, love, love, love, love pilates!! It's the best!! Yay you!!

Today I finally got up off my butt...not that I've had any time to be on my butt...but...I haven't had an official workout in about a week and was starting to lose it a bit!!

So I did some tae bo, 10 minute cardio kickboxing, seated upper body workout with a resistance band, standing upper body workout with a resistance band and bootcamp dumbbell upper body workout!! Yay!!

Using the FREE Prevention website walking routine (you can down load it for your mp3 players)...

I couldn't wait to get off my butt today (and out of my bed) to play TENNIS!!!!!!

I got to the courts at 6:40 am, hit against the backboard until my partner showed up at 7 am (the sky was overcast, and there had been a scattered sprinkle or two, but then it stopped).

We practiced for 55 minutes (the last 30 minutes during a steady drizzle).

I'm somewhat wet, but happy!

I spent 2 hrs in the pool this morning doing water aerobics - water jogging and general swimming.
I will be doing some cleaning this afternoon and maybe go for a bike ride providing it doesnt rain.

I did follow thru yesturday, so yard work all done for a couple weeks. 90 min in the pool after doing yard work was like dessert. Diddles

Good Morning all

I got a 30 min bike ride in (2.5 - 3 miles) and 90 min in the pool doing water aerobics and jogging.

I am enjoying a (__)0 coffee, but I already have my grubbies on ready to tackle some of the yard work today. UGH - More cardio!! It is already humid but it needs to get done.

I walked to the bank to make a payment, and while copying CD 's to Itunes, I walked up and down the block between CD's. It is 7 min. round trip.
Total min. so far today about 55.

Judy from Henderson, NV (near Las Vegas) had a Total Right Knee Replacement 10/5/2010.
Left Knee Replacement 2/23/2016.
Now I hope knee surgeries are over!

Now I just have to keep diabetes from attacking me!

I was tempted to skip my run/walk today because I was feeling tired. When my oldest daughter said she wsa going for a run, it kind of got me in the mood too, so out I went. We don't run together, I couldn't keep up with her, but my youngest daughter came with me (10 year old).

Actually...I took a great nap this afternoon. Then after I saw that I hadn't met my pedometer goal for the day, I got up and hit the gym.

Remember...amateurs buit the ark, professionals built the titanic.

I've learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles three things: a rainy day, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights.

I may have over done it today. I did circuit training. And plenty of walking. I ended up with 160 minutes of cardio.

Chest=34.50, Waist=31.50, Hips=42.00, Thigh=24.00, Calf=15.50, Arm=13.00, WHRatio=0.75

Judy from Henderson, NV (near Las Vegas) had a Total Right Knee Replacement 10/5/2010.
Left Knee Replacement 2/23/2016.
Now I hope knee surgeries are over!

Now I just have to keep diabetes from attacking me!

HI everyone, I am just snooping around. I hope to be here in a few weeks, and thought I would get this going...

A new month, and a good time to start over ... here are the rules ...

The rules of this friendly game of pickup are simple! … You get one point for every day in a row that you get AT LEAST 10 minutes of exercise! It doesn't matter what kind of exercise you do – just as long as you're "moving" for 10 minutes or more! ...

This challenge officially began TUESDAY, APRIL 1 … Another challenge will start every month, so others can get in on it if they are new. Remember, 1 point for every day you exercise!
… As soon as you miss a day, your streak ends and you cannot get any more points.

Let's see how long we can go!

Yesterday, I did some major spring closet cleaning. Brought up my Spring/Summer Clothes and Sandals and packed away my boots and heavy coats. If it wasn't going to rain today I was going to bring out the patio furniture.

today i got up and got 10m in of tae bo

"1 Step Back, 2 Steps Forward" means that instead of grousing or feeling guilty about a misstep, you can still come out ahead if you put your head down and push forward.

ok i am making a short goal to get to my big goal!! lol

I would like to be at 170 by the end of May '08

I did 27 minutes on the elliptical totaling 2.1 miles. 3500 strides emoticon

Since I've started the elliptical, I keep trying to increase my strides and my average number of strides per minutes :)

I did 16 minutes on the recumbent bike and 16 minutes on the elliptical totalling 2.8 miles. I so did NOT want to do anything today but I did it and I'm happy about that!

Yesterday, I got in two 20 min Walk Away the Pounds workouts - one AM and one PM. Tonight I hope to do some hip hop dancing and strength training.

today I am hoping to do curves and walk the dog twice and mall walk, depending on how many steps I get doing that I might do my treadmill after.

Yesterday, I did 20 minutes on the elliptical and 20 minutes on the recumbent bike followed by crunches on the ball that totally killed my ab muscles...lol

Today, I'm not sure if I will be able to make it anywhere...it is family fun night at the school so I have to bake. Plus, preschool and grocery day.

Just got in from shovelling the driveway. We got a good 10-20cm of heavy wet snow last night and this morning. It took me about 30 minutes to clear it and I'm sweating now!
