My daughter reached level 40 about a month ago. She sent in to put 3 pokestops at Veterans Park 1//3 mile from the house. All have been approved an a pokes top and gym have appeared. That sure make live easier.

I think my steps have maxed out at 31,000. The ankle I broke in 08 starts telling me about it. I am enjoying the eggs hatching so quickI got so use to when they hatched at 1/2 that when they went back to normal, it was weird.I have one of those new fancy eggs in the incubator now and it is just a 3 k

New exercise program...

While the egg walking distance is 1/4, I am trying to maximize getting 12K eggs. Yesterday for exercise, I did intervals. Sprint to a Rocket stop, walk while fighting, sprint to next stop, etc., until I had to find and fight a boss. Hatched a number of eggs ;)

I have a tabby cat, Fancy, Well this morning when I was trying to get rid of a rocket, Fancy decided that I was tapping and swiping the phone screen because I wanted to play. I beat the rocket but mot sure that I needed her help.

Virus has been rough! Hope your daughter is staying safe. My son works in a hospital (surgical overnight), so I know t the worries.

My sister would not let anyone come visit my parents without wearing a mask and social distancing. That went away when my uncle passed. She decided they needed the support more than protection from illness.

Are there stops at the markers? If not, when you hit level 40 you can submit these to ask for stops. Message me when you do and I will go vote to approve :)

Historical markers there are plenty of them. This little town of 2100 was a city of 20,000 in the 1960s. A quarter of a mile from my house is Veterans Memorial Park with the wall of honor and 3 or 4 trees planted for some general or another. When I get to level 40. This whole area was different. A town down the road is hoping the 2020 censes shows it up 1000 people. It use to have 75,000,

One thing about this area, when you put a Pokémon in the gym, you put the highest HP you have and plan on feeding it every few days. We say they rent by the week, some by the month. Sometimes when I need coins I wish someone would send one home.

You can only get 50 coins a day and that is 8 hours. But then there is gym points. I'm not sure how the point system works, but you get points for everyday the Pokémon is in the gym and it pays off. There is one gym at a resort I won't go to during the season that if I make it my first spin of the day I get over 30 items and often get TM, incubators revive and other things you don't normally get There are a few others that play. I see their Pokémon once in awhile, but it seams you don't fight a gym till all the hearts are black. I never do and I think I have had one come home early.

I use incense and play in the kitchen, Poke stops are 10 miles apart. My daughter, and her husband play so they get tickets for every one. They live south of Houston and a park near them has 9 gyms and I lost count poke stops. The trail is about 1/2 mile. My 1/4 mile trails have one poke stop, and some time 5 pokemon at it.

Sorry you didn't get any shinies.

I thought about getting tickets for my grandsons, but I play HARD. I also seemed to find shinies when I changed locations (shopping center, park, university, park) every couple of hours.

I didn't get any shinnies. This was my first fest and not what I expected. But then I don't know what I expected. I enjoyed day 1 better then day 2 but my grandsons enjoyed day 2 better. The best part as far as I was concerned was that the boys had planed to be with me, but the virus had other ideas, So they were in Houston. I'm here in the Ozark and we had fun together.

Did anyone do the Pokefest?

If you did, how did you do? Were you satisfied with the event? If you have been to a previous city-oriented event, how did this compare?

I bought the ticket and worked hard to get my moneys worth. Ended up with 32 shinies (including 3 gibles!). I was happy, but I have seen people in our Facebook group griping about the low shiny numbers. However, these people don't 'grind' like I do, and they tend to complain about everything. Hoping for a different perspective :)

We never were on lockdown, but the town I live in has 8 pokestops and 2 gyms in the whole town and they are all bunched together on church street I live 10 miles from Church Street. We are in a town of 2100. 4 digits like all the other towns close to me, except the ones with 3 digits and fewer pokestops. To get to a city of 5 digits so more pokestops you have to go 50 miles. Pick a direction we are centerly located. Fussy and want 6 digits, that's 350 miles, still any direction. We don't get out much.

Hey all, I hope you are able to get out a little more as some of the restrictions are eased. I had gastric bypass surgery on the first, so I am a little more restricted now, because I was an essential worker (healthcare). I have to eat or drink every hour, and in the hospital, I started walking around the unit after each. I have kept that up now that I am home. I walk up and down the main drive for our housing complex, every hour, 13 times a day! It is about 1/3 of a mile and since we have a Pokestop right on the property, I have had my game open each time! I've gone through my stock of almost 350 pokeballs, and have started accepting gifts and sending gifts more regularly, now that I have room in my bag.

My daughter was saying a group she is in on Pokémon Go on Facebook is asking people that can't get out and play to change the name of their walking bubby to lockdown or quarantine. Maybe switch back in forth between the two every week or so. their reasoning was this way you wouldn't get deleted from friends list for in activity. I'm not planning on deleting anyone. but would like very much to know everyone is OK. Well as OK as you can be locked in a house. I have heard from one person so know she might be going stir crazy and frustrated she can't play, but is otherwise ok. How about the rest?

That is one advantage to living in the sticks, I can walk 3 miles though the woods on paved roads and not see a single person. I also go to the city parks. Yesterday I saw 3 families. Mommy, Daddy and 4 goslings. Do geese always have 4 at this pond they did last year and again this year.

Around here there is no under growth. I live in a town of 2100 and the subdivision I live in has miles of roads and maybe a dozed houses. The pokestops are in town.

It is good to hear from you. I know most of you aren't as lucky as I am, I may not have many pokestops, but at least I can get out and I worry.

Any thick bushes? Growing up in the boonies has advantages - like learning to use the woods. If Mamma laid eyes on us, we were sure to get more chores!

Hope everyone is still safe and well! Trying to be good about sending presents. Please open even if you don't have a return gift. Just send me a message and I will send you another. One of the perks of being 'essential' is that I get to sit at my desk by a stop :)

I'm fine. but then I live in a city of 2100 with the nearest city of 10,000 an hours drive away. The all of Arkansas has had fewer deaths then my daughter has had in the hospital she works as an ICU nurse. getting to pokestops is a little harder, but so far I have managed. My biggest problem is they are so far apart and no bathrooms are open. Not even the gas station will let me pee.

I am "essential" - at least for now. This is great because I don't sit home by the refrigerator and there are now 2 pokestops by my desk!

While The older boys and I were spinning a pokestop the youngest came over and looked at my screen. You have a lot of pull up dude. Pull up Dude? Yes that dude that looks like he has a pull up on his head. He then pointed to meditate. Yes there were a lot of them out yesterday, and no I'll never look at them the same again.

I have 3 grandsons for a week. The 10 year old is Blue team, the 7 year old is yellow team and the 4 year old wants to know here the playground is. I took the boys to the next town over, about half the size of ours but it's 2 gyms and one of it's pokestops are at a play ground. When we got there both gyms were yellow. I told the boys to turn one blue and leave the other yellow and watched the little one slide, Went to check on the other 2 and see which gym I was putting my Pokémon in and discovered the boys were running back and forth between the gyms flipping them, Well they had fun. When it was time to go I waited till the gym closest to me was white and put my Pokémon in it. that settled it. They weren't knocking me out of the gym.

Tony is big into Pokémon, I think Alex is more because his older brother and both parents play and little Oliver is just 4. My daughter says they give him a tablet with games his age level and he plays and when the boys get excited he yells out he did something, Just yell out great that's good Oliver and he will be happy and think he is playing with his brothers. But if we go to the park, the slide is more interesting. Which is good and that way it should be. Sometimes Alex joins Oliver sometimes Tony.

Since most of the year I play by myself with little or no interaction with other players, It will be a learning experience for me, it will also be when I trade and battle other trainers. They like it because they get to teach an adult and I have Pokémon they don't. I hope to go down right after school gets out before it gets too hot and see a place where there are lots of stops and gyms. Might even find some Pokémon I don't know.

I get aerodactyls and anorth. I am getting them from all over the world.

If you look at the people in gyms, you would think we have a lot of players for a small town, but the 3 I have talked to carry a phone and 2 tablets and are on all 3 teams. I only know their blue team name. Keeping up with one game is enough for me. My daughter says in Houston she saw a guy trying to play all 3 while walking and it was funny. She said the closest she has come to that or will ever come is when she had taken the boys to the park, she was sitting at bench next to a poke stop and one of the boys was doing the pee pee dance and when she pointed to the restroom, he told her he had to spin the pokestop. she told him to go she would spin for him till he got back. She told me when the boys get here , I can spin for them, but nothing else. I'll have the boys for a week in March.

I am very fortunate to live in a Poke-rich area. I visited Sri Lanka in the spring and many towns had one gym and one stop.

I am also lucky to have a big group that plays here at the university. Makes lunch raids easy.

Any luck with the 7K hatching fossils? I have gotten mostly aerodactyls

I only have 2 shinnies, but then as my daughter says I don't have the opportunity of most of you. There are 10 poke and 3 gyms stops in the town I live in, there are 5 poke stops and a Gym in the town 10 miles west and 5 pokestops in the town 10 miles east. After that it is 50 miles east to a city big enough to have lots of both. I'm told the park about 30 miles north east of here has a gym and a bunch of stops. It is the type of place the boys would like anyway and I started playing Pokémon because they got excited when I sent them gifts. One is big in Pokémon and they other does it because his older brother and both parents play.

Hi! Just been overwhelmed and had to choose between Pokemon and Spark emoticon

Been playing whenever possible. It helps that a coworker submitted a stop that I can reach from my desk!

Hope everyone had a great community day. I got 9 shinies (including a 96% IV) and 2 normal 100%. Woohoo!

My daughter put my trainer number on face book, I got 38 friend request, I excepted some that the name didn't look to American. One was Oklahoma, but then there was England, New Zealand, Indonesia, and Taiwan.

The gyms have been missing from our town for about a week. All 3 of them were gone. This morning on my way to work I saw 2 of them. Right were they should be as if nothing ever happen. went to the resort so my husband could use the pool. That gym was still missing. I went down into the basement to use the restroom and there was the gym in the resort basement. Who puts a gym in the basement? Probably the same person that put one of the churches pokestops in the bathroom.

Why does it have to be wet? I like the warm up we're having now, but my morning could do without the rain.

3 post, one a day and no one but me I must be talking to myself.

How much stuff to you keep out of the land fill. I took in 3 barrels of cans, 4 of plastic bottles, 2 of other plastic, and 2 of those card board bins they like to put watermelons in of newspaper and magazines. Someone else helps them put the card board in the trailer so I didn't see that and we didn't have any electronics today. And it was slow most of the day.

In this big city of 2100, I found a gym It is on a resort, small, but has a treadmill and swimming pool, well some other things too, but that is what I need. When I checked it out a couple ladies I pitch Horseshoes with where taking water aerobics. That's what you do in a place called Horseshoe Bend that is 75% over 60 except during the summer and hunting season.

I haven't actually played in a while... been too busy with other things. So here's something for you... We've managed to catch the flu in my house. My oldest daughter is the only actual confirmed case, but everyone else has the symptoms too.

I want to thank all the people that friended me on Pokémon Go. So far I have gotten 1 egg and guess what it is the same little guy I have caught in AR, in eggs my daughter has sent me from SE TX and Central TX. Most be a common guy every where.
