Hi Coach,

I just recently submitted a question to a Spark Coach. They replied by asking me more questions. Is there a way I can reply or do I have to wait until next month? It seems as though I should be able to answer the questions now while they are still fresh. Can you send me a Spark email to answer this question? That way I wont overlook your answer.

Since I am still in the free 2-week trial period, I was unable to message a coach for advise. However, although the welcome page for today told me that Coach Nicole would be explaining the basics of weight loss, I was unable to find any way to access her talk. I enjoyed the advice Coach Chris gave about the overall program, and about starting regular exercise with 10 minutes each day to make it doable and achieve consistency. And I wanted to hear what Coach Nicole had to share. Am hoping someone may be able to correct the problem?

Hi team,

I just joined the paid version, and so far, I'm pretty happy with it. I first joined SP in 2007. At first I did really well, then due to some internet connection problems, and lack of motivation, I sort of dropped out. End of 2011, internet connection resolved. Since then, I've been trying to work on the motivation factor. I really like that SparkCoach has restarted me from the beginning. I find the reminders from stage one and 2 are very helpful. For me, if I'm not concentrating on losing weight, I seem to be gaining it. The motivation portion of this program does have me more focused. I have lost 2 pounds so far, and am very happy with those results.

Keep up the good work, Spark Coach! I'm sure I will benefit from any suggestions you have!

Just FYI, a prepaid Visa is kind of like a gift card- you just put money on it ahead of time and then the balance decreases as you make purchases. There's no interest involved.

If you have a checking account at a bank you should be able to get a debit card. You could use that and the SC charge would be deducted from your checking account. Additionally if you pay the balance on a VISA or Mastercard in full each month there shouldn't be a finance charge. You just need to make sure the credit card doesn't have an annual fee.

thanks coach jen,dont have visa either lol.anything with interest is against are religion so we tend to pay cash for everything.will check out the video on the tracking so far i have stayed in range for everything except havent had enough fat so something i should work on.looks like i have had a really big breakfast though and nothing else as everything i saved got added to the breakfast lol.i will struggle through and get through it though.

If you choose to sign up later, you'd just pick up from where you left off at the end of the 2-week trial. If you don't have a credit card, your other option would be a pre-paid card (like a Visa).

If I decided to upgrade now, will I get the remaining days plus the next month? Or once I upgrade does my month start then and I lose my remaining days in the free trial?

I still have a week left of the free trial. I was interested in taking advantage of the $.99 offer for the first month. I am not sure that I want to continue beyond that at this time. I was wondering, are payments automatic each month? If so, will I be able to cancel towards the end of the first month before I am charged the next month? Are payments deducted same day each month?

hi i didnt intend to join spark coach as i am not sure i have the resources to pay for it i just originally wanted to have more imformation about it and somehow have joined ,lol.since i have joined i have decided to make use of the two weeks free trail.if after that i dont want to join would that be a problem and if at a later date i wanted to then register for the spark coach how would it work with payments etc for someone outof the usa and who has no credit cards for religious reasons?

also because of spark coach i decided to use the tracking service which i havent really utilised since i joined sp 31/2 years ago.i tried a couple of times and thought it was too complicated.using it today i found it abit easier to understand if time consuming.i have a couple of questions to the tracking.how can i get rid of the spark diet plan as alot of the food on it i wouldnt eat or cant even get here in germany.and how do i add like a set breakfast as a whole so next time i dont have to do each item individually as i tend to be a creture of habit and have the same one or two breakfast.it would be a great help as i dont always have the time.but hey me i started using the tracking food.

What is going on here? SparkCoach will not let me on the site. It says I need to make a payment; although, it says I am paid through November. I really don't like to be annoyed over trivial things like you are paid so what is the problem?

We'd be able to give you examples of foods that are high in those nutrients, but we aren't able to design a specific meal plan based on your condition. That would have to come from a registered dietitian who you'd have to meet with one-on-one.

Yes, as the program progresses and you get further along in the SparkDiet, it becomes more about specific changes in your life and less about how to begin.

Will SparkCoach always have only "general" information or will it get beyond "how to start" a healthy life style. I have been a Spark member for quite a number of years and have already employed many of their techniques and suggestions for living a healthy life style. I am hoping that this will provide me with the extra motivation that I need to keep focused.

Hey,
For one of my "e-mail a coach" questions, I asked how I could even out my calf muscles because one is significantly larger than the other. The just of the response that I got back was "try working out the other calf" I feel like the response could and should have been more helpful. Is there anyway I could get some ideas on how or what kind of exercises I should do for this? Also... in the future, maybe try to be more specific in your answers?

Will Body Media be integrated with SparkPeople any time in the future? I love both but really dislike double-logging my food.
