I'm getting ready to head to work, and my lunch bag is still in the frig half full - I have carrot sticks left, yogurt, apple, orange, protein powder, cheese still in the bag, so I'll add some leftover dinner (baked spagetti stuff), tea bags and pudding - and I'll have a choice for snacks all night and one thing to eat for dinner that's hot. Tomorrow I'll plan a little better-maybe-. Ididn't do anything today but sleep and read, I'll try to walk tomorrow morning aftr work.

I try to eat "lightly" every couple of hours... because I too am just hungry all night long!

I take cut up veggies (carrots, celery, green peppers, cauliflower, broccoli).
When I'm not in the mood for plain veggies, I'll take reduced fat peanut butter for the celery or fat free ranch for the others.

Grapes or apples are my fav fruit, and easy to eat at work.

Smaller yogurt cups (the ones that are only 60-80 calories) or fat free pudding cups.

I'll take a Lean Cuisine or Weight Watchers frozen entree (smaller one) for my main meal.


I try to eat "breakfast" when I first get up, which is typically around 3-4pm.
I head off to work around 6pm, and while getting report, I will eat some veggies (usually a green pepper).
Around 10ish, I eat another small thing, usually some celery & PB.
Around 1am, I eat my "meal".
Then typically b/t 4-5am, I'll eat whatever fruit I bring w/ me.
If I plan to hit the gym after work, I'll eat a granola bar or drink a smoothie a/t 6-6:30am. If I plan to go home to bed, then I try not to eat anything after 5:30am.

I love working night shift, but I hate that after 9 pm all I want to do is eat. What are some healthy things you pack for lunch? How often do you eat?
