We get new group members but not many post daily challenges. I am working on my sweet tooth daily as this is still a problem for me. I am never giving up on taming my sweet tooth.

I just signed up for this challenge, I have only been drinking one cup of coffee in the morning and very rarely have more than that if ever.

Hopefully I'll make it or I'll leave the group.

Getting off caffeine does help with sugar cravings! Good luck! It worked for me when I did
the Adkins diet years ago but I do love my coffee!

Day one.
Situational, but I can also think about sweets and create a craving. Situational is true. Sweets at work beckon me. My job always has time stress, and I think the lift helps.

I know my greatest challenge is HFCS with caffeine.
I want to tackle that first, evicting it, before taming the baked goods and candy issue. For now, Im subbing tea for soda. Its worked in the past and the drive for more caffeine drops with that swap.

Id like to have sweets at holidays and spacial occasions, not daily. One dessert weekly would be lovely.

My reasons are control of my food, not food controlling me, insulin resistance lowered, and generally lowering calories.

Wake up every day knowing you make the decision to begin your journey anew.

This choice in this moment defines now.

Back at another Day 1 for me. It said I didn't need to give up sugar yet so I went for it. Red Vines, and not just one!

I have nothing else sweet in the house and I vow to keep it that way.

Day one for me- I have type 2 diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis I don't have a problem with sugar unless it is in front of me, and then I have no control. I need to get some control in my life and health.

Yesterday was my day 1 on this challenge once again! I have been working on my sweet tooth for 2 years. This is my last addiction but apparently I know it won't kill me like alcohol and cigarettes so I am still hanging on to this one.

I have an addictive personality with an all or nothing mentality. For 2 years I have been trying moderation and it works for a while and then I bing.

I'm not giving up!

I am a situational sugar eater. I have to be careful with sugar because the other two times I attempted a sugar detox, I got a craving for a different white substance I quit in 1994. I want to be able to tame sugar and go back to it being an occasional thing. Along with that, the other lifestyle factors that with healthy sugar choices.

Food is nutrition.

I need to take a serious look at my sweet cravings. The amount of sugar I consume each week in my coffee is shocking and is in addition to the other sweets I eat. Its also emotionally driven. Tracking will be helpful.

I'm new. I took the quiz and am out of control. Really?

I play thr game of keeping snacks in my car - not in the house. Or next door in my daughter's house.

After the quiz, I see There's no playing games. I'm either in Keto or I'm out.

I have Type 2 diabetes, and would love to decrease the meds I take. Would you believe my weakness is candy corn???? I can smell the stuff through the bag. Sheesh. I seem to be somebody who craves really intense tastes. Another craving is salt and sweet in combination.

I hope I can get through this challenge - just thinking about it sets me off.

HELP!

Day 1 of the challenge
I am a situational sweet eater according to the test. I need to loose weight and I know this is a major problem for me. I will journal my sweet cravings throughout the day.

Day one for me
I'm ready to learn some tools for controlling my cravings - or at least not giving in to them. I feel terrible when I eat sugar, but I can't seem to stop. I'm feeling a little hopeless. I read something following the initial survey that said: (paraphrase) the only person who really has control over what goes into your mouth is you.
That little reminder gives me so much hope that it is possible!

I just joined the team! My sugar and sugar cravings need to get under control. I want to lose this weight. I took the quiz. I'm going to get out a journal and record when cravings hit and what I'm feeling this week. I do need to tame my sweet tooth!

I love sweets. Strangely, not chocolate. I love sunflower butter and powdered sugar mixed. My biggest weakness is licorice, red or black. I'd love to break the licorice habit.
