Getting to bed early would help everyone to do better, in everything. You walking in the morning befor you go to work or do anything else will help you do your best & is very good for your mind.

Been off, really. Too much stress. Gotta stop driving myself and be gentle. I am always so tired! My dd wanted to get healthy and so I decided to go for it again. Get to bed early and walk in the morning before work. I am starting a 5 week cleanse class run by a dietitian. I am excited. I am praying for the grace to see it through... emoticon

It is so much harder maintaining. But I am trying very hard not to lose my motivation for a healthy life. There are just so many distractions. Now off to exercise. I must make it a priority in my life

Every day I'm getting faster! I wish the weather would stay warm! I love walking outside a lot better then on the treadmill!

Hi,
Keep up the good work & you will make it. I am doing better, since I have been eating rice cakes, instead of store bought bread.
Also do more things outside, as soon as I can get someone to come & help me change the rope on the lawn mower, then I will mow the two lawns & the weeds in the garden.

Walked 20 minutes on Monday, did cardio on machines yesterday--2.5 miles (treadmill on incline 2, elliptical on manual, bike on 7). Weather looks like I will Nordic track today--however far 30 min. takes me. nice to be back on track so to speak!

Well, I started out pretty good but then it all went down the toilet. HaHa. I have had the flu for the past week. No walking, no SP. I am feeling better today but still feel weak and have a headache. I think I will quit and start over with the program. The only good thing is that I wasn't eating. Hope you all are doing great.

The real reason I'm doing this challenge was to get used to having a cardio workout regularly, but so far I haven't sticked to the plan. The good thing is that when I do do my workouts they are no problem.

Just finished my 2 miles for the first time, did it in 44:43. I'm doing really good, had slacked off on my walking a bunch so my body is telling me about it! I have signed up for Avon Walk for Life in June, I have until then to get my body in some kind of endurance shape by then! This is the start, when I am finished I have a work friend who runs marathons here and she is going to work out a program to work towards being there by June 23rd, that's when I go!

the first full day of Spring we had snow a couple of inches rain lots of it several times throughout the day wind cold so since you are to take one rest from training i picked today. Sure hope tomorrow is nice if not I have plan two in place a walk in our covered mall can't run or work on time but i can walk for 30 minutes this time of year you need a plan two in place. i still have 47 days until my 12 k walk / jog event in May. happy training team

Good job. Wish I could find my garden. Too too much snow yet.
Day 1 of week 1 was good. I did the 15 minutes. Had been doing only 10 minutes. My knee could tell that I did more. I will be doing a mile today. Used to be able to jog/walk? a mile in 12 minutes....not any more.
Lot of melting going on, our driveway is a skating rink.

Hi,
It is good to hear when someone is doing really good.
I made the decision to do what someone else said, they were going to do & that is to not have any desserts, because I am determined to loose my unwanted pounds. Don't have any at home, but have had at church potlucks, that is every Saturday. So if the pastor is going to do it, so can I. If I leave them alone I know I will loose a lot better. So I will not be tempted, I will live the room & plug my ears.

Hi,
You are doing really great. Decided yesterday after what the pastor at lunch. I needed to do the same, no sweets not even at church with the best kind of Sugar. I will just wait until I can get a place in the country & make my own using non sugar sweeteners. I don't mean the artificial kind either.

My exercise was moping and scrubbing floors and cleaning cat litter boxes. The cats seem to this some of that litter must come outside of the boxes. I was outside some so pretty.

I took two walks today top make up for yesterday, too slushy, still did 4 km
this morning 6 km and afternoon another 3.7 km
pedometers are the best
