I knew it! I had a feeling it was Carol who killed those two people. She is really becoming a "do what you have to do" type of person.

I haven't seen it yet either Yager. The job looked botched, and I think they were killed before they turned. Hence the blood trail.

I feel like Carl is quite the disturbed young man, and it bothered me to see him get his gun back. So good point Yager - could have been him...

I feel awkward making a guess for the fire starter when most people have seen the new episode. I have not, so I don't know if they told who did it during that episode. But alot of skeptics have me thinking it was Carl. He was told to protect Judith from illness and he just got his gun back, although I'm not sure if the burning corses were shot. If they were, why didn't anyone hear it? Maybe Carl still has his ball-bat/makeshift-silencer? I can't wait to check out the episode when I get home. And I'm working over 4 hrs..

FFK - I agree. I just can't see Carol doing it. I've always seen her as more of an up front kind of person, and I would think she would have consulted someone to help her if she found them dead and turning into zombies.

Looking forward to the next episode!!

DSD - I completely agree about Carol's take charge persona now. I can see her doing it...but if she had there would have been no bodies left, just piles of ash. She would have made sure they were completely burned up - done it up right, as it were - not left them lying there partly charred. At least imho.

For the rats...I don't think it is the new guy. He had a healthy respect for the zombies, although the face peeling was very strange. I don't see him as being the feeder of the rats, which just leaves the strange little girl...or someone we haven't met yet.

And the best part for me is...no commercials! It kind of almost makes buying the season pass from iTunes worth it.

I don't think it was Carol but I could be wrong. I think something is up with that new guy, I can't remember his name, the one who knocked that alcohol shelf down. Maybe he has something to do with it. That little girl is pretty strange too, but I don't think she is the one feeding the rats, the flashlight seemed way too high up to be a kid. Anyway I can't wait until Sunday, I only wish they would cut back on the dang commercials!

I don't know FFK. Carol is all about the "don't tell your father" kinda action these days. I see her doing whatever she thought was necessary to protect the "family".

The reason I am leaning a little more to it not being Carol is precisely because she seems to have evolved into a take charge person...she wouldn't have left the bodies only partly burned and smoking, she would have made sure it was done properly.

I think it makes sense that Carol burned the bodies too.She seems to be thinking the most clearly about safety issues and medically speaking that is the smartest way to not introduce a virus into the environment. Definitely don't want to bury those bodies in the soil. Looks like they were dead prior to theburning based on the amount of blood loss shown in the drag marks. I also agree that the girl is feeding zombies. Seems like she almost sees them as pets.

Interesting side note... not only was Patrick also the voice of Phineas on Phineas and Ferb. But he's also 21 years old in real life. Imagine passing for a teenager at the age of 21, and having to hang out with Carl.

I can't help but wonder if this show messes with these kid actors minds... even just a little.

Carol is becoming a take-charge kind of person in regards to the safety of the group. I don't care for Beth very much of late. I think she would try and take Daryl's affections from Carol.

Great minds think alike! I assumed it would have to be Carol as she is the only one of the regulars it seems to fit...but it could also be the former army medic, the one from the store run who pulled the booze rack down. He doesn't seem too stable, kind of wild eyed and ready to panic. I'm not yet ready to bet either way (couldn't watch the sneak peak so don't know if it gives any hints).

The more I think about it, the more I think Carol is the fire setter. I think she went to check on the patients, saw them beginning to turn, and stabbed them. Then dragged them outside to burn.

Burning the bodies is a "standard" reaction to plague victims...that's my assumption as to the why, burn to try to stop the sickness from spreading, not b/c of zombieness (is that a word?).

I'm thinking it is the girl feeding the zombies...but then I also think maybe that is what the writers WANT us to think so they can pull one over on us...but then I think the writers have not previously shown any evidence of being advanced enough to do something like that...but then I think I think too much... emoticon

Although when Carol handed over the knife to the girl at the fence, and she took it, I was almost expecting the girl to suddenly whirl around and stab Carol because...a) the kid is disturbed ; b) Carol means well but is a little annoying to a kid with all the kill or be killed so toughen up chickie talk; and c) as "payback" for sticking a knife in her Dad's ear and "killing" him.

Why has it taken them so long to think about reinforcing the fence? They certainly know it is a problem, they talk about "clusters" and having to thin them out so why haven't they done anything? They certainly have enough people, none of whom appear to actually be doing anything work wise.

I'm not sure I can accept Beth as the wise woman all of a sudden. I appreciate them trying to make her into a real character but she's really not up to it. I think she is replacing Andrea as the person I'd most like to see chomped by a zombie.

Ok, I know I sound all negative, but I really did like the episode. It's taken them 3 years but it looks like they have finally gotten the balance right (although I will gladly pay if they would just stop trying to turn it into a musical with more and more people wanting to sing!)

I don't see them killing Carol off. But honestly, you never know.
They certainly thinned out the crowd at the prison this week, huh? I don't think we knew any of the dead, except Harry Potter.
Then there is the business of the two now burned corpses. First off, jackass, we have clearly seen that burning the bodies doesn't make a difference, so why? Secondly... WHY??? They were locked up. Even if they died and turned, they weren't going to go all munchy munchy on anyone.
The scene with Michone was cool, if not a little bit "made for TV." The scene with the dad and the two little girls was scene of the show this week, I think. Followed by the Rick/Daryl moment, and the Rick/Carl moment.

I really don't want to see Carol killed off. Daryl really needs this lady in his life....

I wondered about that Pig killing by Rick. He had a lot of blood on his face & shirt. I hope Rick had no open sores as surely the virus would hit him.

I think it is that little girl feeding the zombies at the gate, too.

I liked the scene where Rick handed Carl his gun back.

I, also, like who Carol has evolved in to and don't want to see her go. There is a couple that has kinda stagnated so I think one of them will bite it soon. As far as the burnt bodies, were they alive when they were made that way?

On a side note, why doesn't anyone turn from zombie splatter to the face when they are killing them? It's got to get in their eyes, nose and mouth.

Right on DSD... You called the bleeding eyes zombies.

My other half kept saying that this was Carol's episode to die. I like who Carol has evolved into. But because of him saying this.... I was a nervous wreck in the scene when the two little girls father died.

Poor baby pigs. *sniffle* I couldn't watch that scene.

I can't quite express in words how much I loved the scene between Daryl and Rick. When Daryl told Rick that when the sh*t gets too deep... he sees Rick grab the shovel, and know exactly what to do. Then... even though it comes at a personal cost to Rick, he does what has to be done to save the fence.

Speaking of the fence.... Again with the good call DSD. It is quite the flimsy protection between walkers and the living.

It would be so hard to keep hope in a situation like that.

WHO is feeding the walkers? My money is on the little girl who was naming them. Not sure of her name - but I think it is her.

I guess with all this extra stuff they are keeping it alive. I remember it was getting stale with them just sitting at the farm, but I'm honestly not getting that vibe from this season thus far. That was a fear of mine with them just sitting at the prison.

I'll stop rambling now.

A smile is a curve that can set things straight!

Highly escalated! Can't wait to see how far it goes. Is it too soon to talk about what all happened this episode? I'm taking it Michonne had a baby. All that pigs blood spraying in Ricks face, is he asking for the swine flu (or any other sickness)? I'm still clueless on who dragged the two bodies out and burned them...
