Good afternoon
I am new to this forum. But not new to Spark.
I stuggle continually with cravings and evening grazing..and have put on so much weight that clothes I bought for my 2 week July vacation in Alaska are too tight. I am disgusted with me..
I have also been very lax in keeping up with friends on Spark.

My goal is to take more time for myself, so that I can destress a little. I was in a car accident and I really hurt my back. I have been having to see a neurosurgeon and because it keeps getting worse it looks like back surgery....

My food challenge is sweets and it doesn't help that my retired hubby likes to bake all sorts of sweet goodies.

My resolve has waned these past few weeks, but this week I am determined to either limit (1) or eliminate these goodies and replace them with fruit.

This week a large box of assorted cookies arrived in the office and is parked on a table directly behind my desk.

Although they scream my name, I ate nary a one yesterday and so far none today.

My goal is to enjoy the holidays while eating healthy and staying within my calorie range (1200 - 1500). I started this goal 8 days ago and have been successful for 8 days.

Nothing taste as good as feeling thin. emoticon
Things to remember to do:
Say my affirmations during my walks
Be aware of my thoughts (catch those negative ones)
Work smarter, not harder
Plan, Plan, Plan If you fail to plan, prepare to fail!
Rest - Being tired is my first step toward failure
Eat a minimum of 6 freggies (I stay full all day)
Get my 2 servings of calcium for strong bones
Choose to be happy
Use my imagination and be sure to have some fun
Stay focused on my goals and not on food.

As long as you keep moving, you are still lapping those on the couch.

My December goal is to make into habit eating at regular times (every 2.5 to 3 hours)-- no nibbles between -- with healthy whole foods, which for me includes no gluten, dairy, or eggs.

I've been inconsistent with this, but today's a new day!

Haven't been able to check in because I lost my internet access at home a couple of weeks ago. I'm at the library now.

Just changed my goals for December. Looking forward to the challenges.

A goal for mine is to say thank you to every complement I receive instead of being shy and blushing and putting myself down.

Beautiful Diva's we have 4 weeks left til 2010 rolls in & I don't know about you but I AM going into 2010 (Lord willing) a healthier, confident & a Diva weighing less!!! I am going to give it my all these next 4 weeks & plan to lose 6 pounds this month. I challenge each of you Diva's to really challenge yourself this last month of the year. Let's get rid of the excuses & reasons why but instead focus on HOW we can reach our goals!

There are going to be office parties & Christmas dinners but at some point you have to know When to Say When- Enough is Enough!!! You have to know when you are really going to make YOURSELF the 1st Priority!! Do you want to go into 2010 weighing more & setting your New Year's Resolution to lose more pounds b/c you put on extra weight in December? You need to take control over your life RIGHT NOW & NOT when Jan. 1, 2010 comes around. Do something NOW & make a change happen these next 4 weeks.

WEll....hello everyone. Hope you are all doing well following our Thanksgiving in America and working into the next holiday season.

I have geared the new goals towards the holiday spirit and hope you find them interesting and something you can achieve. At this time...I have some very sad news. I must step down as coleader of this team. Although it breaks my heart to have to do it.....I have just no time to spend here as I did in the past. My work has taken over and to stay mentally healthy....I need to let this part go. I have so enjoyed working with this group. So much motivation is passed from one person to another through this group. I am eternally grateful for each and everyone of you who have ever read things I have posted....or sent me a note of encouragement.......or simply been my friend. I will never forget you.
