I took a break to get out and went over to the mall for a vendors display. Did pick up some fresh veggies. Also went to Penney's and got a great sale on a lined white suit jacket (goes with anything) as it gets cold in church for the choir. Fun to do and got in my walking for the now.

My computer was down yesterday. Son in law is a computer guy and came over to fix it this morning. Thank heavens. I hate being without it. Seems that the problem was an update that didn't work properly. I went to get my nails done this morning. It is a beautiful day. I have laundry to do later.

Linda M - sorry about the change of the appointment. Hope that the stormy weather doesn't cause any problems.

Lee - hope that you are doing well today.

Glad you enjoy the Yoga Linda. And the salmon. I am having grilled salmon tonight.

I did my usual Friday chores today. Wash and change bed ect and actually got in a short but sound nap. So a good day.

Linda - Glad you are enjoying yoga. Grilled salmon for dinner sounds good.

Exercise class this morning. I only did a half hour of yoga today instead of the hour. I really do like yoga because of the deep breathing and often gentle movement. We went to the store to pick up some items. Had grilled salmon for dinner. It was good.

Lee - when we moved from Florida our realtor also had the virtual tour for the computer. As you said, people don't like the photos can forego coming out to look at the place. Saving you time is key. It is frustrating when people come and you don't get a response from them.

Turns out the photographer and his daughter in training were doing a Virtual Tour. It will go on line MLS and also be sent to our out of state favorite brokers for showing to FL snobirds.
When Mike the broker said we need to step up the game a bit I had no idea it would be
like walking through an open house. I think it will save me time and energy too, as if they see and like what they see they are more likely not to be just lookie loos. They were here for a bit better than three hours.

I rarely go to early classes. But I woke up much earlier than normal. So I went to the 60 minute yoga class. I like it when I go. I am sniffling a lot today. I believe it is allergies and it isn't making me feel well.

Lee - YES! All of the cleaning that you do certainly counts as exercise.

Linda M - I agree with Lee. Miss you and many prayers for you and your hubby.

Linda good for you. I used to got to the gym every weekday. Glad you are doing it.
I was advised by Dr. to keep moving but to stay off equipment. Walking and easy strength exercises and stretches after. So I guess I am doing enough. Does cleaning constantly count??? Keep up the good work.

Linda M you are missed and wished the best along with much prayer.

I had another gym day. I didn't get anything much done around the house. I skipped my nap. It is so beautiful outside.

Linda glad you had a good day yesterday in spite of your instructor being ill.

Today I picked up meds for son and met him and wife to deliver after her Podiatrist appointment.They live 15 miles away on the south side of town so I meet them at Sam's for gas and when they need meds. Hard on them to do all their shopping in one day. I did get a 20 minute power nap.

Linda M. you and DH are in my thoughts and prayers also.

I had a good Monday. I went to the gym for my exercise class but found out the teacher was ill. So ended up working out on machines. Afterwards. came home to clean bathrooms. We had a very good dinner. All in all, a good day.

Lee - glad that you heard from the boys and their wives.

Linda M - hope that your mouth is feeling much better.

Linda that was very rude. I hope that woman does not come back to your church.

We went to church this morning and there were plenty of visitors, due to Mother's Day. Something happened this morning that I have never experienced before. Half way through the service, a woman approximately 50 stood up and asked the minister would he be talking much longer! It was such a shock to us. She was so rude. She ended up leaving early, which was a good thing. It is crazy how inconsiderate people can be. Otherwise, a good day.

Linda M - I am so sorry to hear about your mouth. That is such a sensitive area, I am sure that you are miserable. Praying for relief and for the next week to fly by.

Lee - happy to hear that you had a nice and easy day. They are the best.

The sun is shining and going to be a nice mild spring like day. My mouth is still quite swollen and hurts some but nothing like it did earlier in the week. I never like to wish time away but right now, I will be glad when this next week is behind us. Thank you for thinking of us and for the prayers.

Happy Mother's Day to both of you

I was happy that I was able to place the flowers on the grave since it did not rain. We do expect rain on Mother's Day. We are going to just enjoy a light lunch here with family. They have other houses to go to so I am just happy to see my family. I have received flowers from the girls so that is nice. We picked up a few things at the grocery store. We had a late lunch at Ruby Tuesday's.

Both of you are in my prayers....for better sleep and health.

Linda I hope you get to place the flowers with no rain.


I had another restless night but did get gas early this a.m. It doesn't really matter
as I got a nap to make 7 hours.

It has gotten just a bit cooler today - in the 60s. At least we didn't have rain so that was a good thing. I got in a long walk. Pretty sleepy this evening. We had leftovers for dinner and it was a good thing. We ate much less than last night. If I can, I plan to take flowers to my mother's gravesite (parents buried together.) I have been planning to do this for a couple of weeks but not when rain is expected.

Lee - sorry that you were sleepy today as well.

Linda M - I certainly hope that all goes well for your hubby.

Linda M. Sorry to hear DH's PSA is up but you are absolutely right Heart trumps
Prostate, especially if it is only a small rise in the PSA. Yep both my sons have
gone the Prostate cancer route. Eldest had a radical surgery then needed radiation.
Youngest had radiation only and so far stable. Get that heart fixed. Opt for stents depending on his age and they should find a blockage. They can do that right away if necessary.

Prayers.

I didn't sleep well so got up and did wash, went to grocery then changed bed and made sure house ready and took a delicious nap.

Today I went to my exercise class. I wasn't sure that I wanted to go but I received a text from a classmate asking if I was going....so I went. I guess I should consider her an accountability partner. She actually pushed me to do it. I also got in a walk. I really expected a lot of rain today. We didn't get much. So I was able to do more than I had planned.

Lee - you accomplished a lot today.

Linda M - sorry that your hubby will have to have a scan out of town. Praying for him (and you.)

Rained here and started out cool..around 36 degrees. Not complaining though. Snow fell in some areas up in the northern part of the state. Gee whiz...enough already.

Dh's psa level has reached a point the uro says needs scanning. Heart issue trumps prostate so pet scan will have to wait a bit. Scan can not be done locally so it'll be a trip out of town.


Linda - Sounds like you got a good work out with the kettlebells. Hope your arm feels better soon.


Lee- Good for you! Sounds like you got a lot of cleaning accomplished.

I got ambitious and cleaned the pantry and refrigerator this a.m. Got on a roll and kept going.
I do exercise but within the limits my Cardiologist has set. Also do great PT core exercises for my back.


Happy Thursday

I went to the gym and skipped my class to do the treadmill and some strength exercises. Due to my arm injury, I normally am limited with weights - just use light weights. Today I thought about it and tried 15 pounds kettlebells. I really liked doing it. I think I will throw that into my routine from time to time. It was around 85 today and beautiful. Rain comes tomorrow.

Linda M - sorry that you did not sleep well.

Lee - you stayed busy. Sometimes it is fun just running some errands.

Linda M sorry you didn't get much sleep. Hope you can get a nap! (to much on your mind no doubt)

Hubby and I went for a walk outdoors today. Perfect weather for us, 75 degrees sunny and blue sky. I finished my laundry yesterday and put Sunday's and yesterday's laundry away. I did a bit of grocery shopping after our walk. Planning an easy chicken salad for dinner.

Linda M - oh, I remember that pain after dental surgery. Praying for you. Happy that you have good weather today. We expect thunderstorms on Thursday.

Lee - hope that you are doing well today.

Sunshine here right now with a high of 60 predicted. Rain and colder temps moving our way by tomorrow. Last night was a miserable one with the pain from the dental work. ( Two extractions that made up a bridge gone bad, and three bone grafts. Not pleasant.) But I am definitely doing better this afternoon. More discomfort now than pain. I'll take it!! lol

This morning was gym day. It is a beautiful day in the 70s. We plan to head out for a late lunch. Looks like a good day all around.

Today's appointment for dh spawned another appointment of course...lol...I also have a major dental appointment this afternoon so these appointments are keeping us busy . I am thankful that all this wasn't needed during the winter. On a joyous note, dd's heart concerns all turned out okay and she doesn't need any other appointments for that. Hallelujah!

Lee- It's good the showings keep coming! One of these days and as you said, "In His time."

We had a good church service. It was a beautiful weather day. I did take a nap. For some reason I was extremely tired today, although 8 hours of sleep. I am doing a load of laundry this evening. I will probably do another one tomorrow.

Thanks. It was a good showing and I have hopes. Probably won't hear right away but as they left (I was parked in the drive so they could have privacy) they praised the house and the husband gave me a thumbs up. Nice but so often they look more and find just the right one.

DD and I had a pretty nice morning. After the nail appointment, we went to some yard sales that she wanted to visit. So it was a good morning although no real exercise.

I was happy to get my hair done today. This afternoon I had a bit of an upset stomach but feel a little better. I only got in a short workout today. Planning to get my nails done with DD tomorrow. We have had rain off and on this week. Looks about the same next week.

I slept soundly last night when I wasn't up and down. (age) lol Got all my Friday
stuff done by 1 p.m. wash , bed change , bank and grocery. Picked up some salmon for dinner
and it was right tasty. We are finally getting much needed rain

Linda M hope you get some sunshine in your life and both your DD and DH get some good reports or have good Dr's to fix.

I was pretty busy today. I found out the results of my thyroid blood test and it was good. The meds are helping which is good. I also had a Hepatitis C test. I don't have it. This doctor is really checking most of the baby boomer generation. I didn't think I would have it but I guess you just never know. Tomorrow is my hair appointment for a hair cut and color. I am happy to get it done.

Lee - you are right. We all three could have called one another. LOL I did sleep better last night. I went to the gym and also got in a long walk. Super sleepy tonight.

Linda M - I hope that you slept better as well.

I could not sleep last night so today was a slow moving kind of day. With cool temps and gray skies, I could hardly keep awake but I did. As much as I would like to nap, it almost never happens unless I am sick with a fever. lol So, hopefully, I'll sleep well tonight.

Linda- Glad you enjoyed the yoga class. I agree. It is nice to try something different.

Lee- With all the prep to get ready for the move and keeping the house show ready, I am glad you had a day just to relax and take it easy.

I didn't sleep well again, of course, because I had to get up early for the blood test. Grrrr It will probably take two or three days to get the results. I hope he posts them on my page by Friday. After the blood test, I did go to the 60 minute yoga class and loved it. Hope I can get myself up early to do it again. Most of the time my classes are cardio and weights/strength training. Nice to do something different. I tried to take a nap and didn't sleep again. Hopefully, I will sleep well tonight.

Linda M - I agree that it is a shame about the dog treats. Too bad they decided not to make them anymore.

Lee - happy that you had a good day. It sounds like you had more of a relaxing day which is always nice.

Raining here today. This morning I picked up a few groceries and then stopped at the pet store to pick up a few things for the dog. There was a sign up on the shelf where his favorite treat used to be. No longer will the company be making the treat that the dog loved. It was the one treat, that when offered, the dog would ( 95 % of the time) do what he was told to do ..i.e..like "come". LOL He has other treats but nothing else he favors. Re dd's cardiac issue..She's had some questionable symptoms for some time. Recently she saw a new physician that realized the need to see a cardiologist especially with dh's diagnosis.


Linda- Hope all will go good with your thyroid test. That's really nice that your dh helps shop for groceries and helps out with other things. Actually my dh likes grocery shopping more than I do. LOL

Lee- Glad you are free of in growns. Those little things sure can hurt and annoy. Enjoy those happy feet!

Last day in April. Hard to believe that May is almost here. This morning I went to the exercise class and hubby actually did some grocery shopping for me. Actually, he helps do things often. It has looked like rain all day but really hasn't. I chopped up some fresh tomatoes, onions, etc. Plan to have a couple of salads for dinner over the next few days.

Lee - glad that your feet are feeling well after your appointment. I do pedicures every six weeks and feel wonderful afterwards. Happy that you slept well last night.

Linda M - it is so scary for parents to see our children having health issues.

My best part of the day today was Happy Feet and a bit over 8 hours sleep last night. Happy Feet after podiatrist took care of in growns.

Linda M I am so sorry your DD is having cardiac problems too. Glad DH will finally see Cardiologist and I will add you DD to my prayer list. Lately very long. Nice that you can

Today was a gym day, exercise class. I told a friend that instead of doing the regular cardio/ST class I may try the yoga class with her. It is designed for seniors which is better for me. Especially with the shoulder issues. I have a blood test scheduled for Wednesday. It is for the thyroid issues. I didn't sleep well last night. Hope that I do tonight.

Lee - that is so nice about your GD becoming a special needs teacher. I have a cousin that is retiring after doing the same for many years. She loved her students.

Linda M - so sorry your DD may have cardiac issues. Prayers for her and DH's appointment also next week. Happy that you had a good day.

I spent most of the day on the go. Dh wanted to go play bingo this afternoon so we did just that. Weather was nice. Temp around 60 and clear.

Lee- You did have a good day, quite a busy one. Your granddaughter sounds like a very busy gal too. Good for her for wanting to be a special needs teacher. You asked when dh's next appointment is and he'll see the cardiologist next week. Our dd is having some similar issues and has an appointment to see a cardiologist this week.

Nothing like being a grandmother Linda, unless it is being a Great Grandma. Sounds like you
had a lovely Sunday.

Restless night again but did get a lot done today. Took more "stuff" to Good Will and a small
load of better 'stuff" to Humane Society Thrift. Also mopped and dusted. So figure a good day
and one day I' won't need to hoe any more. My Daughter In Law's can' wear my clothes
and they and sons have taken what they want or need and that wasn't much as in their 50's
and have "stuff" Have "stuff the GRandaughter would like if she finds time to come get it. Works , raises and 6 yo activities and is attending college to become a special needs teacher.She is very passionate about all ofit.

This morning I went to church. I had a nice morning looking at baby pics from a proud grandmother. We came home and other than making an easy dinner, I did very little. I took a short walk. Later, I took a nap and just relaxed.

Got a call this am. for a showing after church and a reception. Got home to message
that they cancelled as the buyer for their home backed out. Maybe later.
I was glad as needed a nap and phone kept ringing so called a friend who said she
would take some "stuff" off my hands. She came right away and we also had a good chat.
